I'm delighted by all of the feedback I've received from the people that have played Forgedale Springs Golf Club up to this point, so I decided to have a little fun in the weeks remaining before TGC2 arrives.
I have created the "Forgedale Springs Open" tournament, where you will find a 4-round event with a surprise twist. The first round begins with the fast & firm Forgedale Springs Golf Club setup that has challenged most people that have tried it, but the following 3 rounds display the course's other possible pin locations, featuring weather condition changes and a BIG surprise in each round!
The event will be open for 3 weeks (because I'll be on vacation for 2 of those weeks and I can't administer any scoring updates during that time), but when I return I'll do a global leaderboard for people who submit their scores in this section. I hope it's a good time, and an interesting way to have a little fun with this golf course before TGC1 closes down.
Head to Play>Tours>Forgedale Springs Open to enter the event! If you want to "officially" register with me for the global leaderboard, just notify me on this thread, and then when you finish, submit your four round scores to me for the leaderboard.
I'll be teeing it up tomorrow before I leave for vacation, so the Xbox users will see my name somewhere on their system leaderboard. Everyone loves to beat the designer, right?
Have fun, I think you'll be surprised with what you see out there!

Rd1 - Forgedale Springs Golf Club - the original design, done in the desert theme with dry weather; greens are firm and the speed is fast.
Rd2 - Forgedale Springs Golf Club (Rus) - done in the rustic theme with overcast weather; greens are softer and the speed is not as fast.
Rd3 - Forgedale Springs Golf Club (Bor) - done in the boreal theme with rainy weather; greens are medium and the speed is slower.
Rd4 - Forgedale Springs Golf Club (Hig) - done in the highlands theme with clear weather; greens are medium and the speed is fastest.
Good luck!
