Absolutely. Besides, wrap it up and publish then port it and tweak it. Publish on both!

I've been working on a course that is specifically designed with beginner TGC2 players in mind. Even if it takes me past the 27th, I'll finish it on TGC1 and then port it over.

You can port it unfinished too. Take advantage of new tools and hole testing in 2. At least on pc you can drop the course file into the courses folder anytime

Right, but I'm only getting TGC2 for PS4, so I won't have that ability. My PC is way underpowered so I'm going with the smoother gameplay experience.
I have another project planned that really requires the new TGC2 tools and assets. I'm really looking forward to that. Just hope they solve the incessant crashing.
Unless, of course, a new PC with a capable graphics card just happens to be found in a box for Father's Day. Then all of that changes.

I was going to ask this on the TGCforum but how does the transferring of courses work? Do you have to do it with each course published or unpublished? Or does it just transfer them all over? I'm on Ps4. Be nice if you can pick what courses you want to have on tgc2 - get rid of some of the early dodgy ones. Will they keep the play amount, rating and handicap?

I am working on the Wakonda Club in Des Moines,Iowa and thinking of publishing a version without the water hazards until TGC 2 comes out then I can add the water hazards since water will be easier in TGC 2.

Import them individually to the TGC2 designer as an unpublished course.

From the stream they had the other week it looked as though the Tour player driver has a carry of 279 yards. If you're designing with multiple tees you can always use the distance tool and see where the back tee landing area would be incase you need to move them back a bit?

All of this is a complete waste of time.
Unless you are enjoying it of course.

I'm a little disappointed there isn't an option to set dominant winds. You wouldn't want the same wind direction everytime but I still worry now about creating holes like 500 yd par 4's, as in the past I couldn't get an approach shot within 20 yards of the green with a wood on some plays.
