Okay, that was my guess what you were trying to explain. So thanks for that. Unfortunately this doesn't help me in any way on how we could move on with the RRCC...

Okay, that was my guess what you were trying to explain. So thanks for that. Unfortunately this doesn't help me in any way on how we could move on with the RRCC... The very tedious option is to do what the Seniors Tour has done. Have a separate user on the 3 different platforms host the same event each week and collect data from them all. Far from ideal, I know. But I don't see anything as an in between option?!? If a better alternate was put forth, this would be welcomed, no doubt!

Id wait to get some official word from HB... Far from ideal but i hate to have 3 people stuck with a society they cannot delete if ever resolved.

Societies can be played, deleted, and then rejoined week in and week out currently. I know there is an issue with max limits, but this is a (not ideal, but known) workaround.

Basically the only way we could currently do it would be to set up 3 separate societies on each platform, one for each round, and make them free to enter so people can hop about between them like you can with TGCT societies. So you'd play the round 1 society, then leave and join the round 2 one, etc. Us score collectors would have to go in to each one and collate the scores, a bit of a pain but doable. But it's a no go until they raise the limit on societies because I don't know anyone with 3 spare slots.

Couldn't have said it any better. So thanks for that, Jamie! I want to be honest with you, this is just not the way I want to run the RRCC! Not only would it be a pain in the ass for those who run the tour (setting all up on 3 different platforms at the very same time if possible; collecting scores, etc.), but with all the "Society Hopping" it would also be quiet frustrating for users - especially long term - I guess. The way the game is structured right now, it simply does not fit the (idea of the) RRCC Tour. That stinks... I know! I don't want to do it that way! I hope you all can understand (and respect) that. So in the meantime I only can hope that HB will adjust the way societies/tours are set up... some day!

Societies have ruined the game in TGC 2, much in the same way they did in the TW franchise. The circumstances are different, but the net result is the same. I haven't played online vs a friend since Daxon at Wolf Creek several weeks ago. I'm finding the entire atmosphere unrewarding (presently). Community Run Events have essentially disappeared.

To be fair good sir (as a multiple RRCC winner you get that title) societies ARE basically community events. There are some really good ones out there already, and got to say I've played plenty of them live with friends. The problem at the moment is all the limitations society events have, but you'd like to think a few patches down the line things might look a little different. Bring back Tours HB!

I find this so true. I can go find a PS4 Socety, to be sure. The problem is that I want to compete against all TGCT members that wish to compete back in Community events. RRCC, even though I rarely played it, is a great way to play new courses and compete at the same time. I hope something can be worked out.
