The last round of the Team Stableford will be going live tonight, so I'm thinking ahead to the next season, which will kick off when TGC2 is out and everyone is keen again.
One change I'm thinking of making, to prevent the best players being paired together, is to have 3 separate groups. If we have 36 players, the top 12 players as decided by world ranking in one group, then the middle 12, and so on and so on.
Hopefully this means teams can still be random, but also even for every round.
Secondly, instead of me asking people to nominate courses at random, I will be asking the winners as previously, to draw the next round, but the team with the lowest number of points in the previous round will be asked to nominate one course each.
I will use this first season as a trial run, I'm reasonably happy with how it's gone, although it appears there is still a big gap between the higher and lower ranked players which I'd like to see closed up, so any further suggestions to make this happen would be considered.
I will look to set up Season 2 around the beginning of August, so presumably the new game will still be linked to this site/forum?

Some sensible ideas there Dave to narrow the skill gap. The last paragraph of your post poses the $64,000 question. Will this site + forum still be required if TGCT is a society within the game? If not how will we communicate with all our forum buddies, teammates etc. etc. ?
The next live stream from HB Studios is focussing on Societies/Clubs and may throw some light on this question. Frankly, with a little over 4 weeks to go, I'm surprised that the powers that be at TGCT have not made an official announcement regarding this and other issues.
