Nice going crushtastic. Glad someone can play the greens the way you're supposed to. Think the Sloaner got a 63 as well so you're in good company. yeah, if I'd just birdied the par 5 on the 18th, I would've beaten him. Saying that, I did notice he got a couple of bogies, which is unlike him.

Bradley Beams Week 6 Going to relax a bit on these after almost giving myself a stress induced stroke in this weeks web tourney. 1 -> 67 << -5 thru 5 then 4 unanswered bogeys.. made it back to -5 thru 18 2 -> 59 << par on the first hole 3 -> 69 << classic pablo course.. 4 -> 61 5 -> 68 << the wind got me 6 -> 64 7 -> 61 << ugh should have been 59.. missed an easy eagle putt on the last and a 5 footer for par on a par 4..

Late to the show as I never really played this because I was entered in so many other Community Events
Thought I'd tee up week 6 just for fun
1 - 68 2 - 58 3 - 72 4 - 68 - couldn't sink a putt and had a bad case of the hooks off the tee 5 - 6 - 7 -

Haha, indeed. But it is a desert course, after all, and that dry heat makes the greens hard. You can't go directly at all of the flags, but there is a route to get close to them if you're creative. 😉 It's a lot tougher than I remember Eric. I'm a pinseeker from way back so I'll never learn the nuances but what I was actually referring to was on the rare occasions I got reasonably close there was never an easy putt. Because you're relatively new around here I'll explain the "MotherCanucker" reference in case you don'y know. "MotherCanucker" is Andre Quenneville or Crazycanuck1985 and he is famous for tough slopey greens. If anyone has taken lessons from Canuck, it's Pablo. Almost the same, just with a Spanish flavour.

pablo Golf de Vallée des Fougeres was "interesting" in high winds, ones of those holes I had 3 chips, classic pablo greens You know what I mean, the ones where if your flop shot is short of the flag the ball is coming back to your feet

If your shot is not perfect, you'll be punished. I always try to leave enough room for the good enough shot to be rewarded. I can't say I always achieve that in every single pin, but that's what I try

He's from Barcelona. A "Fawlty Towers" reference if anyone here is old enough to remember that apart from me.
