I just downloaded WGT golf for my phone today and I have to say I am 100% impressed. I think I found what is going to keep me occupied until TGC2 comes out.
It's scary that the graphics for a game for your phone are substantially better than TGC's graphics.

Was playing it on my phone here in the hospital. Can't play TGC or any games due to using hospital wifi and "games" being blocked by their firewall. Just got a new iPad Pro and will download it soon. Able to play App Store games no problem. Most of them anyway, Some are blocked and I bypass that by turning my phone into a hotspot. Ipad not LTE /cell enabled, need a SIM card from my wireless provider.
It (WGT) can be a bit of a data hog though. The entire game is actual photos of the courses, thousands of them. So where ever you land it has to download the photos. That's also why your camera angle can be a little funky if you land in the rough or hazard, the photos for that area may not cover it properly so the cam may be off centre or on an angle.

Yeah I play this every now and then. Play with basic clubs from the red tees as I'm a tight git and don't want to spend any money.
Hit a lovely -5 on St Andrews last night under these settings...
Red Tees
Hard Pins
Slow Greens
High Winds
See if you can beat it...

I remember the moment when she came out.I got very hooked on WGT golf and the seven decided to try real Golf.It was fun and interesting.I actually found this app by accident because I was originally looking for an app to diagnose my car.My friend recommended the new App Store apksalad.com/en/category/AUTO_AND_VEHICLES so I decided to see what it is.I was surprised at how many interesting things there are.I found a lot of useful apps for my car and just for life.I advise everyone at least once but go to it and see the maybe you will find something useful for yourself and don't forget to recommend it to your friends. |
