Looking at the names that are reporting a problem, it seems like Xbox and PC are both fine. PS4 players seem to have more lag issues in general, so I bet that's it.

Just tried to play on PS4, it allows to search the course and once I go to Tee Off, I get a blue screen, so did send an Error Report to Sony, but not sure what good it'll do cause it's Sony.

Really nice job on this rhino4life. Hole lay out to planting to risk reward all top notch. No doubt will end up on a tour. Almost had your -9 titaneddie but couldn't putt worth a damn this morning. For what it's worth not an issue to be had on xbox1. Hope the ps4 thing gets settled so many more can enjoy all your hard work. I designed it and cant even get to a 9....freakin Webbers!!

That's too bad about PS4. That's the one platform that seems to have the greatest limitations. I'm sure you can reduce the object count enough so those PS4 peeps can enjoy it - bummer you have to do it though.

It's only been 9 months and moving more earth than Christ....so what's another few moments of trial and error. My DNA is I will remove something and keep nitpicking the thing to death like I have been for months.

I'm willing to wager it does have more. I'm a little perplexed as my meter is not even maxed...i did not multiplant very much either. I'm working on a dummy for a trial and will see what happens. If your on ps4 don't bother trying. I've reached out a few fellas for some guidance on what might cause this but in any event im working diligently on a solution.

I had some side events I had to play tonight so I didn't have much time to mess with this glitch but I did try a few things out and here is some information that maybe someone with more knowledge than I can dissect.
I first put the auto tree slider to zero just to see how many trees I planted and there are a ton. Probably not helping. I think one of many mistakes I made in this journey was erasing auto gen stuff while doing the course. I had no idea it didn't come back. I assume auto gen trees have little to no effect on the plant meter. My publish had the tree meter at 50%...and nothing changed on the meter when set to zero which is how I came to that conclusion.
Since it was hard to see the meter go down or up with minimal changes I measured it. On my tv it's 8in long. At the present publish I have used 6.5in on the button...so 81%. I wiped out a few smaller rock areas I could live without, the drive up surface, practice range, practice greens, ect and the meter never moved at all. This was disappointing because now I'm thinking this is not as easy to fix as I hoped.
I then started removing larger areas that had rock work. Very minimal change. It was not until I removed pretty much every rock than I noticed anything. I'm not sure if there is a delay in the meter moving or what the deal is. But essentially I have no course in doing that much changing.
The lowest I could get the meter was around 5.5 inches but thats with no rocks at all and some of the greens or tee boxes removed since I was just removing things with area select tool. I also noticed while using the area delete these random shapes in blue that pop up that weren't anything at all. No clue what is.
I made this comment during Invicta but my meter moved the most when laying heavy rough. I do have wide bands on heavy rough so maybe shaving that back would help.
My next step is possibly taking out stuff in the water like lilli pads and grasses and remove the trees I planted and see what it does to the meter after a few holes and possibly making some rock areas smaller if forced to do so. If that doesn't work out or the course totally loses its look then I'm probably done in the designer.

The plant meter on xbox has always done weird things for me. On my country side course it got to about 55% full then never moved. So I to test it i just kept planting, eventually it just crashed. I can't remember what I did but I could get the plant meter to flash a more accurate representation but it would only be for a split second.
But the tree slider shouldn't effect your meter. So you can turn it full then just delete trees so you can save room, but unless you multi planted the trees (Which I find burns the meter fast) I doubt that's the problem.
I don't know what it's like for you but when I turn my grass/plant slider up the designer works much slower for me. Not sure where yours is at but you could try something there.
My guess is it's the rocks....but it's just a guess.

Thanks Chad. The rocks make the look so I am going try things within my grasp to fix this without sacrificing the looks.

Wanted to interrupt my tournament play to try my hand at this beautiful looking course -- but.... I'm on PS4 too. Eagerly waiting to hear if there's a version that we can play.
Thanks for all your hard work, David... hopefully you can dig your talons into finding a fix for us low-brow PS4'ers! :-)
