OK, so this is weird? I've just finished this tournament on -56 with rounds of 57,58,58,59 But it wouldn't show me the leaderboard when I finished? It did after all rounds except for the last one. All I got was a blank list and the buffering icon in the bottom right of the screen. So I went back to see the scores for the tournament after I'd finished, and Instead of showing my name at the top of the leaderboard, It says press x to continue? and puts me on the 3rd tee of what I presume is round 4? It's 1.30 here and I can't put myself through that again! I lost the flags for the last half a dozen holes, but because we have the scout cam on, you could see the flag waving anyway if you zoomed to the green. Maybe that had something to do with this? I made a hole in one on the 12th in round three I think? Pin set 5. I had a poor front nine there, but shot -10 on the back side

Congrats on your ace, Bradley! And those rounds are going to be tough to beat. I'm sorry to hear about the scoring snafu. What platform did you play the rounds on? It looks like we are old friends on Steam...let me know which of the two games you would prefer and I'll get it sent out ASAP. Again, congrats on the great golf!

Great shootin, Jeff. Not a bad round in the bunch as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks Bradley, sweet course BTW, a real beauty I played on PC. To tell you the truth, I only played this tournament for fun. You can give the prizes to the next players in line. Thanks very much anyway, I appreciate all the hard work that you've gone to in making the course, and this great tournament that you've set up I'll probably go ahead and finish the last round again, just for kicks, even though I've already finished it once! I'll see if I can beat the -13 that I shot originally? I doubt it though as I think I shot -9 for the front nine! The wind got pretty strong later on, so it will be tough to replicate.

Played the '73 course pin 1 on the True Sim Tour blind (first playthrough of it) and found this a treat of a course.
Look forward to the rest of the tournament later on in the week.

My scores for this tour were
67 -5
73 +1
64 -8
71 -1
Total -13
I hardly set the world on fire, but would like to say how much I enjoyed this competition. I have always found TST with no aids at all just too dificult. However this was like Goldilocks "Just Right"
I would love to see more competitions with this set up.

I went ahead and finished the tournament again. I started on hole 3 in round 4. I got to -14 after 16 holes, then went par and a three putt bogey on 18 from 3 feet Just so that i could get back to my original -56. This time my name and my round by round scores were there when I finished. But when I went back into the tournament to look at the leaderboard, my name had disappeared again? It's like the Twilight Zone Oh well, like I said, I only played this for fun and some practice for TST. Thanks again for setting up this fun tournament Good luck all

Maybe if tst branched off into a secondary tst lite tour id be interested.

Glad you had a good time. I'll have to check on my end to see if the score(s) posted. I hardly set the world on fire, but would like to say how much I enjoyed this competition. Yeah, it gives you just enough info with the scout cam to let you get by without having to play and map out the course beforehand. Even, if you've never played the course before you shouldn't have too much of a problem. However, I do hope that the overhead map is much improved in TGC2, that would make things better for the TST in my opinion. Also, I will be hosting another tournament this Summer on a shorter but firm version of the course ( Summer '69) with the same settings. I may do a few smaller events in between if there is enough interest. Perhaps bring in another course or two.

I started this tournament and then quit on hole 5 or something. I can't read these greens on a video game to save my life. That's why each time I try the TST tour I eventually just quit. I don't get how I'm supposed to read the wind either other than watching the ghost balls...Anyway, that said, I do love the course and I used it as my home course in a Community Event recently. Thanks for taking the time to create it and some of you are just ridiculous in how you are able to kill this game.

Thanks for taking the time to create it and some of you are just ridiculous in how you are able to kill this game. Dug Have a look at different camera angles. I look from the front at ground level, then from behind the hole at ground level about 6 or 7 feet past the hole. I move the camera from side to side from there to see if I can see any obvious breaks. Then from the regular camera behind the golfer I will sweep the green from side to side in increments of 5 feet or so away from my golfer to the hole, with the aiming marker. That way you can see if the elevation level changes. So, if it goes 1 inch, 2 inches, 3 inches etc. very quickly, then you know that the slope is quite severe. If it only changes very slowly, then you can tell that it's more of a gentle break. For the wind, hit the option/start button on your controller and you will see the flag blowing on the green. After a while you can get a good read on wind speed just by how much it's moving. It's not exact, but you won't be far off most times. I turn the sound up loud when I play true sim as well. Listening to the wind really helps you decide if it's less than you thought, or more. After the wind gets to about 13 mph and stronger the flag will look about the same, just straight out. This is where you have to play safe approach shots as you could be way out. If you have a drive straight into the wind, check out how much yardage you lose. That's another good indicator of wind strength.

Dug Yeah it definitely takes some getting used to but I tell you what....NOTHING in this game is as satisfying as sinking a 40 foot breaking putt with no grids on! And of course there is no better way to leave 40 foot putts than to turn off the wind meter. All joking aside, thank you so much for your dedication to the course and your kind words. It really means a lot. Take a good look at Bradley's post right above mine. There is some very valuable insight into how they are able to "kill this game".

Quiet happy with my opening rounds. Two rounds of -9 and therefore -18 at the halfway station. So we have until when to finish this?
