I've published a few courses and then edited them afterwards. Unfortunately, each time it adds the word "New" in front of the old course name. I think I know how to avoid this in the future, but I'd like to delete some of these courses and I can't figure out how. I'm tired of going into "My Courses" and seeing the course named "New New New ........" It's more than a little annoying. A little help, please?

Cannot be done. Once they are published, they are published forever

When you edit an already-published course, be sure to rename it in the editor to whatever you want first, then immediately save it. The GNCD will automatically put a "new" in front of the existing name of the course by default.

That stinks. So if you need to edit after its published, can you rename it to the previous name after editing and before republishing, so that it doesn't create a "New" course?

Luckily, courses published in TGC will not automatically be available in TGC2. If you want to re-publish a TGC course to TGC2, you can, but it has to be done intentionally by you.
You'll be able to download your published course and have a chance to edit it before publishing to TGC2.
This should get rid of the duds we all made before we knew better.
