I seem to remember some of the admins saying they were going to do some golf classes in the new year. Is this still on ?
Just curious.

I've put up a few tips/tricks here. Hoping to expand on it when I get some time to do some videos.

They've made a MASSIVE difference to my game overall Glad to hear that schatuk - here's hoping that more people take the time to go over it - would be great to keep the health of the tours alive if everyone was competitive without the aid of a handicap.

I've put up a few tips/tricks here. Hoping to expand on it when I get some time to do some videos. Great chart and explanations. The only question i have is about the roll distances. We know the softer the greens, the less roll they will have. So this means on hard greens where there is tight pin placement you want as little roll as possible. Ideally then you want to choose a club with more loft so it will stop more quickly. The question i have is how do you know how far a particular shot will roll? I'm assuming it is just practice and not something you have listed, eh?

These have overall been helpful to me also. I greatly appreciate the time taken to put this together. The elevation change to be specific has been very helpful.
The one thing that doesn't seem to work is the wind calculations. Not sure why but when playing with the wind, the figures listed don't ever seem to get me close.
I don't think you can use the same wind calc. for the same clubs throughout your whole bag. Depending on the loft of the club or how much loft you put on a shot, the wind will play more or less of a factor. Would this make sense?
Any thoughts?

Right - I generally do 13 yards (average, depending on club) on firm courses like Son Gual all the way up to 2 or 3 yards for softer courses. Some holes there is no way to get a lofted shot close to the hole so you have to make the next best play to a safe part of the green and try to make the putt. Sometimes playing to a fringe/rough and trying to chip in is the better play.

Any thoughts? I've noticed that the wind affects lofted clubs more. So a full PW seems to be effected by the wind more than a 4I. Also a half swing pitch shot or punch shot is effected almost 1/2 as much as a full swing shot. Little touches here and there.
