Without having played it yet, I'd say the chances are pretty high.

I just checked this thread in case I missed something because I'm really looking forward to this course. As I was drooling over the pictures again, I did want to mention something that popped into my head. It's completely a matter of opinion, so feel free to take it or leave it. I'm pretty big on realism, and as I noticed a lot of boats on your property, it crossed my mind that the waterways that they're sitting in are not likely to be conducive to those kind of boats. The speedboat on 7 got me really thinking about this, because I see a small bridge in the foreground, and a large bridge in the background, and I began to wonder, "How did that boat even get in that pond?" I had slightly the same impression with the sailboat behind number 5 green. The little rowboats seemed totally appropriate, but without seeing the overhead view of your waterways, those other boats felt like they would be unlikely to get where they are and even unlikelier to be in such shallow water. Just a thought, because I'd hate for anything little like that to take the viewer away from your gorgeous terrain. Sometimes, less really is more. Can't wait for this course to come out!

Hey Eric.
Its funny you mention that because i had exactly that feeling when placing them, do they fit, does this look like it would naturally be there etc?
Your opinion has backed up my unsure views - next time im in the designer they are a goner!
Appreciate the honest feedback indeed.

Course looks great!
I would just like to point out that Elton John released "Crocodile Rock" in 1973 (not the 80's). I realize the 80's seem like the distant past to many on these forums...I believe dinosaurs were still walking the earth when Elton John released this song...

Finally reached the halfway point with the 9th just completed. Here's an overview of the split fairway choice it offers...

The 10th and toughest par 3 on the course, well over 200 yards, however the green is receptive to the correctly chosen approach, despite the ominous look from the tee...

Finally reached the two thirds complete stage, 66% done as the 12th is completed, the fourth of five par 3's... Just the final push to get completed ahead now!

That'll be easy if you look at my first TGCT database course in The Country Club of Wichita Falls... lmao... I didn't really figure designing out until Indian Run.

Last par 3, only plays between 85 and 95 yards, a gentle whoosh of the club but the green holds a few tricks in store. 14 down, 4 to go

Should finish the 15th tonight, just the last few to go now, trying to make every hole feel different but the same in theme, how ive planted etc.
I know theres plenty of mistakes being made from the stalwart designers point of view but for my first course im happy with how its looking for sure.

From what I can tell it looks like a thing of beauty. Can't wait for Vic to get his hands on it for photographs!

Just finalised the 16th. Do you take the safer shorter fairway or risk the river crossing for the much easier approach? Wind will shape that decision...
