I make no apology for the use of the name of a very cheesy 80's song No, not a recreation of Elton Johns back garden, but a river and creek laden course with plenty of our sharp toothed friends to accompany you around. Im only 4 holes complete so far but its the first course ive found a groove on in a long time and stuck with. Its designed to be testing but fair with well placed approaches, medium greens and pin placements that require thought on approach. Just a few tasters so far... The 1st green on the left leading you over to the 2nd tee box for a short par 3: From behind the 2nd green: The drive awaiting you on the par 5 3rd: That same hole with long approach over water to a thin landing area to set up the the third shot: Lastly the green complex that awaits: Plenty of work left to be done but im making solid progress and will update as and when the creation grows. Cheers!

Thanks Eric.
Its going to be a labour of love but worth it in the end i hope.
Took me a while to fully get to grips with the designer and understand about framing holes, views, greens, all sorts really.
Hoping all my learning comes out in this my first course.

5th hole green complex: Just getting to work on the 6th now, even after this is complete the course is only 33% done. Makes you realise the time needed to be put into these things to make them half decent

Much of the techniques stolen learnt from your good self on your YouTube channel one must admit! Your videos are very helpful especially for a beginner like myself, so i must thank you!

I hope your greens are fun because aesthetically this course looks unbelievable. Trying to make them above all fair, some trickier ones, where help is there, some easier ones where shots are there to be picked up, trying for a balance. Nobody wants every hole too easy or tricked up im guessing.

Overview and back end of the 7th, the shortest par 5 on the course with a good sized green, in contrast to the other par 5's with tougher pins and greens. Plenty of eagle opportunities on this one.

Cheers Thomas. Hopefully it'll be of good enough standard for an outing on the wonderful RRCC Tour
