For some reason I can hit the 100% mark for almost all the par 3's and 4's but every time a par 5 comes up I only get the low 90% 's. As far as I can tell I hit it the same way but on par 5's when you obviously need the extra yardage I come up short. Maybe I'm flinching on the par 5's now but I don't think so. Anyone else having this problem??

thank you !! I tried the longer delay and it made a big difference. Getting 100% on all drives most of the time now.....now if only I can stop hooking it !

Getting a lot of reps in with the swing can help.... I've had this game for a year and a half and I still hit a dreaded "91er" every once in a while.

I find this topic an odd one as I've never had a problem hitting 100 on the normal PS4 controller.
Although that dreaded soft feeling when it's offline and heading for trouble haunts me.

I'm with Roy. This seems like an odd conversation. I'm also on PS4

Anyone else having this problem?? This also happens to me on most Par 5's. It also seems to happen when I'm hitting over water as well. During the recent Seniors Tour (The Masters), I hit 4 shots over water in the same round, and each time I hit a 93% shot and landed in it. I know you can psychologically get the jitters hitting over water, but to hit exactly 93% 4 time is something I couldn't do if I tried. I think I just need to concentrate more on the areas I know I flinch on before I take my shot. Apart from that, I have no other explanation on why I always duff a shot at the wrong time. Still the best Golf game I've ever played though. Just for reference... The one thing I have noticed occasionally, is that the speed of your players backswing isn't always the same on every round. So there is a possibilly, that you could be starting your downswing, before the backswing has reached it's peak, hence the low percent shot, and if your tempo is the same for every shot, you could easily get caught out. So some of the comments above from other posts, regarding leaving your backswing at the top a little longer could be the answer.

I moved to the female golfer several months ago because I felt her swing was more fluid, you can actually see the top of her backswing and her legs looked nice in the skirt...

Follow Mark's ghost. Proceed to replicate shot. Land in fringe and get sh%$ bounce. Throw controller in trash. Take trash to dumpster. Tell wife to purchase new controller. Start a new game with the same ghost. Get same sh%$ fringe bounce. Smash controller. Rage quit. Smoke weeds.

Yeah, I don't get this.
You don't hit it any further by pushing forward harder. Just execute your normal swing.

Happens to me, drives me nuts, But the fix is just have to hold the back swing a little longer.

Maybe your lie has an effect on the swing? Not all fairway lies are 99-100%. Plus the ball above or below feet.
