Over this last year, I've figured out a lot in the designer... but I'm gonna be honest, I suck at water sculpting.
Experienced designers- how do you get your lakes and creeks to look so good? Mine always look kind of random and forced.
I'm asking because I want to begin work on an RCR of Scioto Country Club... any tips are appreciated! Thanks!

A LOT!!! Of trial and error try everything you can think of then try the new stuff that comes to mind if all else fails try something even newer! Play with the designer to figure out what works and looks good....

I like to look at real-life and pay attention to the transition from bank to water, especially the plants (whether on a course or not). There is no one way to do it. It depends on the theme, habitat, level of manicuring, etc.

Instead of sculpting the water, I sculpt the land around it
