This isn't as much as a suggestion for TGCTours as it is for HB studios. I know some members are trying out the beta for TGC2 and I was just throwing this out there. Not sure if anyone else has brought this up, but I think it would be an awesome feature to name each hole as you design. I think it would add to the fictional lore and history of each course. What does everyone else think about this? Comments welcomed.

As with any kind of user customization, HB would have to police the content. This just opens up more places for racist, homophobic, misogynistic epithets and other inappropriate content to be added, making more work for HB.
I just don't see this happening since it provides little value (not exactly none, but not significant) with a potentially high amount of maintenance required.

I'm a golf historian, I love the tradition and history of the game. I just thought it would be a novelty to add that, but I understand your points. It would add nostalgia to your golf course, but some people would abuse that aspect and I get that. Well made points, I guess I didn't look at it from that side as my intentions were from a different viewpoint.

I'm pretty sure my wife named her holes... Oh whoops, nvm If I was able to name my course,I'd create a hole with all sand and desert and name the hole Camilla,lol. |
