Got my round here done this afternoon. I can't really figure out why, but I liked the look and feel of the back 9 much more than the front. Maybe it something to do with a caffeine deficiency, or maybe your design ideas/philosophy changed along the way. Had no major bones to pick with the links approach, complete with the lay of the land being embraced rather than "tamed" by a steam roller. Maybe one or two of the higher off-fairway features were a little dramatic for the theme, but those are more matters of personal taste. Think I finished -2 or -3 in 12-14 mph winds. I'll take it! A pretty challenging course overall. Thx for investing your time to produce Durnwick, Greg. Oh... had a pint of Strongbow and the lamb & rosemary pie in the pub afterward.... a nice complement to my round at Durnwick Golf Club. Thanks, Rob, glad you enjoyed your round (and good English meal and Cider at the clubhouse afterwards) Appreciate your feedback!
