Everything is cyclical. There's a point of diminishing returns with everything as well, including automation. Take people out of the workforce and you also take them out of the economy. But in that period where we figure out exactly where this point lies it's the underbelly that'll present the biggest concern. Have not's have nothing to lose. But capitalism, with a measure of oversight is a self-sustaining model, whereas socialism has proven to leave even more people behind...and create an even larger underbelly. Just my opinion.
