Your shapes and bunker/fairway complexes are amazing! So you design in flat terrain and then add slope later I see? I am very new to GNCD, so I love pictures like this because it educates me on how others are doing things. I also love the road, clubhouse, and parking lot area. I'll be interested to follow this course along the way.

More times than not I'm more than willing to show techniques or answer/demonstrate whatever I can.

I would be careful adding the mulch before final planting, Derp. Your shapes look solid. Personally I would get my greens, tees, and fairways in, and then add mulch well after. Allows you to use as much autogen trees and plants as possible and not confine you with predeposed decisions. Just my opinion....solid start...look forward to seeing you work through this one.

Stream? Sorry, totally new to this, not sure what you mean. I use Twitch to stream the designer...meaning you can watch a live feed of me designing a course. It's basically a live show where you can ask questions and comment in the chat box on the live feed. Doing is not only allow you to see what I may currently be working on, see my progress or techniques, but if you have specific design questions I can show you how I go about accomplishing it. Keep in mind that my way is not the ONLY way, but it may help you going forward.

I'm not adding too much in. I am pre planning where I want stuff to go so I don't design myself into a corner.

3 more down tonight, 3 to go, then to land sculpting I would love to try a design from flat because of the water table, but I'm not remotely sure how to sculpt land realistically from flat. I think it would look awful if I tried that. Although maybe it's not as bad as going down to the water table in pre-sculpted terrain and then having to "fix" the land around the water to make it look natural, otherwise the water just sits in canyons and crevasses. LOL I should probably figure out this Twitch thing.
