Can someone kindly share with me what the "Stars" are for or represent that everyone has above their Avatar or username when posting on this forum? I've noticed that most have one or more stars, mainly blue in color. It appears that the Staff/Administrators have stars colored red. Just trying to learn more to become a better informed member of this golfing community. Could not find a reference to these at the Pro Boards site.
Thanks much.

The stars along with the rank name (e.g. Caddy) denote the members forum rank, the official HB Studios forum also has "ranks".

For regular members, it's just based off post count. For staff members there will be 5 stars - we have a few others that are on staff now that haven't had a title/stars added. The colors of the stars don't signify anything important.

Jay and Scott, thanks for the update. I haven't figured out yet how to get 2 quotes to show up in my reply, so sorry for the copy and paste shown above. I need to go to Pro Boards and learn how to use this system properly. This is my first time involving myself in a public format, I'll figure it out sooner or later.

Use the little gear wheel to the right to select all the posts you want to quote, then hit the quote button

Once you've quoted, you can still edit/delete the nested quotes to leave only the new comments in the quoted post which adds to the readability of your post.

You must have the experience in doing this; will going to the Proboards site (that I just found out about) give me the basic info that I need?

To be honest I don't know. There'll be a user guide somewhere and that's probably as good a place to start as any
