I said after the No Man's Sky debacle that never again would I get caught up in the hype train and buy a game on release day but I just couldn't resist. It's been getting great reviews across the board and some of the trailers and gameplay videos look awesome. I ordered it yesterday from Simply Games and they've shipped it already so I'm hopeful it will arrive today, a day earlier than release Anybody else getting this ?

No one?
Your missing out. Open world game with a huge map and mech-dinasours, what's not to like!
Game is brilliant by the way. Looks stunning and the combat is great. The storyline pulled me straight in from the get go.

I've played about 4-5 hours and am enjoying it. I find it a cross between Tomb Raider and Skyrim, and I think the story sequences (at least early on) add to the game. Hunting and shooting the dino robots is a blast. I can see this getting as hard as one wants fighting the higher level machines and with multiple difficulty settings, those who are expert gamers and need a challenge play on the higher settings. No Mans Sky was constant gathering and selling with really no story, which was what killed it for me. I still see myself playing this for a limited amount of time and heading back to TGC and Rocket League....still blows me away at the value in those two games (Rocket League was free when I got it!).

I've just picked up this as I was sent a £10 off voucher from ebay that had to be used by the 11th. So I got the game for a bargain £28.99 I have to say that so far I'm really enjoying it, it oozes quality. I've always liked open world games, this one feels fresh. The whole robot/animal/dinosaur idea is an intriguing one. Kinda feels like an RPG, but more emphasis on the action. Looking forward to unlocking more skills and weapon modifications. The graphics are ridiculously good, I'm playing it on Pro on a UHD screen with HDR and it's probably the prettiest game that I've ever seen! I'm only a couple of hours in, but can't wait to get back into to it.

Still got loads to do and can't see me getting bored with it anytime soon. Graphics as you say are top notch I bet it looks awesome with HDR.

So I completed this at the weekend and I can genuinely say I was gutted when it was all over. I've even got the platinum trophy, first one I've ever gotten. Such a class game, I hope they bring out some sort of DLC in the future as I just want to play it some more!

I've had it since release but still haven't played yet. Need to clear the list of story games first.

Just started today, compelling so far story wise. Graphics look 10/10 and the game plays very well. Intrigued to find out what the back story of the robot dinosaurs is all about.

Highly recommend this one, its the first single player campaign I've beaten in sometime. I started by playing slowly and working through sidequests, then about halfway through after playing some story missions, I got hooked in by the storyline and played the main missions till the end. Lots of side quests I didn't touch, but still loved it.

I may need to dig this back out and have another play even though I've completed it, quality game.
There is a DLC coming out in November too I believe. Would be good to refresh myself before that is available.

Had the game for 5 months and finally finished it yesterday. Started out slow like Canuck doing a lot of the side quests as they came up and like Canuck the game wasn't really grabbing me. Last week I decided it was time to get this out of my backlog and once I started focusing on the story missions I really got into it so much more. Even the remaining side missions stopped being the slog they were earlier. Finished off the hunting trials today and that was enough to make it my 37th platinum trophy.

Got this in the black friday sale and loving every minute. I guess it might get repetative as most games are but not finding that yet. I love the way the robots attack and how you can kill them.
