Brains Trust,
Trying to practice on this course but finding it really difficult. The course has hard greens and med/fast speed. I'm landing the ball on the front of some greens an its still running off the back, can I get some tips please on stopping the ball or how to play these types of courses?
Cheers
Luke

Cheers Luke Luke you guys will be playing the CC versions of the course. They are medium-soft-medium-medium for firmness and slower greens. So choose those versions to practice, not the original. Good luck!

My methods probably aren't the best, but they usually get the job done. Click the second link in this thread. Hope that helps you, Luke.

Griffin, thanks for dropping in to lend a hand better than I ever could. Selke is a very hard course though. Some par 3's are just murder to hold, I do agree. The course in its original state was built for the TGCT web.com finals designing contest, and was meant to be extremely tough for web level players. Some pins (like the one on the par 3 13th) require you to bounce well before the green to hold and stop, but I did try and always give room for you to do this without bouncing in the rough. Let me know if you end up getting the hang of it Luke...if not, lots of people here to help.
