Okay, I think I've found a trick to make it so the issue is less noticeable. If you don't want to go through the tedious process of barely brushing the auto-generated heavy rough, it seems that using a smaller brush won't mess it up as much. I'm bad at explaining, so do you know what I mean? Let me know what you think.

Yes just go around the heavy rough auto generated by your light rough with a small brush and boom no squiggly lines looks much cleaner.

Too bad I figured it out halfway through a course... now it'll look completely different! Maybe the person who was mowing the front nine was having a bad day...

You can use any size of brush, as long as it doesn't get to "touch" the first cut. You only need to experiment a bit to find the right distance

Gives a very uniform look when using circle brush.

yeah just dont over lap the light rough and it is fine. ONly after 3 courses did I realize this. Still screw up from time to time but hew, the mowers are high sometime...can't fire all of them

If someone can post a video of doing this, it would be greatly appreciated. I gave up after finding it too tedious and still not getting PERFECT results. Maybe I'm doing something wrong although it seems like an easy concept that a chimp could learn.

I use the round brush. zoom in and go slow. try and get the edge on the created "rough" that is laid when the light rough is laid down. You'll get the hang of it. just go slow and a little at a time. after a hole or two you'll get a feeling for how close you need to be.

I know we all abhor the auto-gen functionality but I found if you turn on the heavy rough dial a fraction it gives a heavy rough "fringe" that is easier to blend into.

Man i hope TGC2 addresses this issue because painting the outside of the auto-gen heavy rough is such a time suck. Drives me crazy since doing it inside bunkers to make the right also is a time suck. I'm getting time sucked constantly and not in a good way.
