A lot of my weeks don't have MC wags, purely because I can't play every tourney. Bit of a leap to what you're claiming. And there seem to be a group of folks who like to defend cheating and other activities of questionable integrity every chance they can get.

Well, if someone's deliberately waiting to post their scores, that's pretty douchenozzle-like. If you played your four rounds, put the damn scores in when you're done. There's really no valid reason not to do it when you're done with round 4. I gotta say I agree with Irving. Played your rounds? Then post your damn scores. Takes all of 10 seconds. You spent how many hours playing your rounds - you can add another 10 seconds to that. However, having said that - this is a freaking video game. I think this entire thread is silly. If the rules say the deadline is midnight on Thursday, then posting at 11:59 on Thursday is legitimate, even if "douchenozzle-like" (great phrase, btw). If your blood pressure is going up over something like that, you need to find another source of entertainment or switch from regular coffee to coffee with bourbon in it. This is a game for poop's sake! It's about the fun!

Exactly. Something can be legal and still be a total dick move on someone's part.

In this game, straight shooting, and what Boom did are essentially cheating. I can see many on here actively defending such things, definitely mate. Give ya head a wobble. "Some people don't play this videogame to the level of integrity I deem it deserves. Its golf and its real to me dammit" boo hoo.

"I'm going to keep this short and sweet" Yes it's a minor annoyance when you know people have played but not posted their scores, simply because the Leaderboard isn't right. But does it really matter? No. At the end of the day if you're sweating the cut line on a Thursday night it means you didn't do that well to start with, and believe me I know, I've been there more than a few times! And as for it being a form of cheating? That's just ridiculous. Five pages of nothing which I'm now pissed off at myself for adding to!

Personally I'd like to at least see the API posted in gray color until the scorecard is signed. I say this from the standpoint that if we are talking about playing within the spirit of the game of golf, then having the API score posted shouldn't upset anyone.
Considering this league is trying to emulate the experience of professional golf tours (my understanding of the mission here)- pros don't hide their scores, they are there for all other players to see. Having the API report to the site's leaderboard is no different than a TV broadcast during the match showing the scores to players as they enter the clubhouse at the end of their rounds.
Again, my point of view is strictly from the "emulating the experience of professional golf tours" stance. I couldn't care less about the reasons people hold back. It's about the experience the league provides in relation to real pro golf.

Every golf tournament I've played in (IRL) requires you to immediately report to the scorers table/tent after a round. Failure to do that is a DQ, even just going to your car or bathroom is a DQ. If this tour is to emulate real life then that rule should be added.

I usually play the opening weekend when you can't post your scores, and sometimes I just don't have time to get around to it during the week. Monday rolls along and I'm knee deep in work and finding time for my family. I had one time where I played, and I totally forgot to put my scores in. It would be nice and I wouldn't mind at all, if the scoreboard would just update on its own without me having to enter them in. There was another league, the LGGT tour that I played in and I would play a round, and the scoreboard automatically updated my score without me having to enter it. That was a real nice feature that I appreciated. I'd be happy with that if they could implement that here, so if you played a round, the scoreboard would show it no matter what.

Should do what they do in the other game, Api records your round as soon as you finish a hole, leaderboard then shows exactly where you are in game/tournament etc and your score is shown for all to see, they even a shot tracker that details every shot you took for each hole attached to your scorecard
problem solved .

Yeah not sure why we are still having to log our scores. It would be a lot easier to just use the api

Time to resurrect this f*ck*ng thread. I thought I had an exemption to CC-C this week. Played all 4 rounds last night... but NO, some a$$h*les decided to wait and crush my hopes. I'm done with this damn game. I'll finish my WIPs, and then you're saying goodbye to Jacob. BS. Dude, people have until midnight tonight to post scores. You celebrated a full 24 hours early. You are the marathon runner dancing to the finish line while people pass you.

And what, exactly, should be done about it? Move the deadline up so you can complain about this a day earlier?
It's not BS. People have until Saturday night to play/post. If you play early, you have to wait/hope.
Good luck next week.
