Phew... Close one. I'm guessing Sam (no tag in case you haven't seen the result) is a bit dissapointed at this stage. I know I would have been. Close call. Bad luck m8. We are eben now right? I know we cant alter the courses, but my grounds crew keeps rolling out wheelbarrows filled with gravel for the cart paths... They keep telling me that they need to replace them. Am I the only one who likes that color? *sob* ...survey says....yes. You are. ;-)

"Disappointed?" Yes, for sure - loosing on a penalty shoot out... but after playing Silent Ivy just after the groups were determined I can understand why it took @griff to settle our match up. You designed & put out a cracking entry mrooola & deservedly progress to battle it out with Mitch. Already said it, but good luck to both of you in the quarter finals. Indeed the very best of luck to all the contestants still in the competition. I will be following it avidly. Big shout out to Griff & all the guys who make up the judging team - another first rate TGCTours "official" contest of which I hope there are many more to come. Here's our battle in song Ola.... You get to be "Snow Dog" in this one & yes, we're even now mate

You get to be "Snow Dog" in this one & yes, we're even now mate Port Sunlight was a really good course, Sam. I'm not just trying to make you feel betts when I say it was one of my favorites from you. When I did my scoresheets it was a rating based on a straight playthrough of the course, not a comparison to another. I honestly thought when this matchup was announced that while it would be tight you would probably advance. Like I stated in my synopsis, it was .2 of a point...crazy close. Nothing to hang your head about, brother. Pin this bad boy up.

Port Sunlight has already hosted a couple of popular community events where the feedback was genuinely positive so I've already published 3 additional pins & colinmafia has requested an LPGA version for his "no aids tour" over on the HB forum which I'm working on now.
