Ok I have bought TGC2 and I am having the same issues as TGC.
I have borrowed two controllers from my nephew and I am having the same issues.
Took me ages to get past the tempo lesson.
Any ideas what the issue can be ? Obviously going forward if I can't nail a tempo then the game is going to be very hard.
New video below.

Yes i I'm having the same back swing glitch which hurts my game, it seems to happen more on slow back swings, my problem is when i try to take a slow back swing and fast down swing i usually get p/p or i least full distance, but this glitch forces me into a quicker back swing which sometimes results in fast/fast and alot less distance, also the 1 to 2 ft putt glitch where the putter would suddenly snap back and throws off your timing. hope these are noticed by others and gets corrected.

Anyone get to the bottom of this? Just started having the issue now. Very annoying, at times up to 6-8 non swings before full swing, by which time I've lost concentration. This happened to me towards the end of TGC1 and it got so bad the game was on the point of unplayable. Replaced my controller (which was 2 years old) and hey presto! No more glitches.

I had this on TGC 1 and am now experiencing it on TGC 2. I had to switch from (my preferred) left thumbstick control to right thumbstick control to get it to work. The controller works absolutely fine on all other games so I've no idea what the problem is, I seem to recall that for some bizarre reason if you plug a pair of earphones into the controller it made the fault disappear on TGC 1.

I also had this on TGC1 and eventually gave up trying to play it on my ps4. I also experienced the same problem on the new game. But the problem has stopped since I bought my new ps4 controller. My new controller is the one with the thin light bar on the top of the touch pad. I have connected it with a usb cable and changed the controller settings on the ps4 menu and the swing glitch has completely disappeared.

I was hoping to be even par on the back 9 at Highlandia, well on the 18th tee that damn fast back swing happened and I didn't downswing then My swing was off and you know what that means I didn't make the fairway on the other side gully and water. ended up with +7 for the round. I'm bad enough I don't need any help!! thanks for letting me whine!!! john of Z

I don't know if this will help you or even apply to your problem...but I was struggling soooo hard with getting a perfect/perfect on back swing and down swing, so I did a little test at the driving range where I used the same swing I used in TGC1 on TGC2 and guess what...it worked I ignore the fast back swing as it does not effect the shot. Only the down swing effects the shot and needs to be perfect. I only use tour clubs and once I figured out my fast back swing didn't matter and it just had to be rhythmic, my scores went from over par to -10 on a regular basis with my best tournament at a society event where I shot -57 for my 4 round total at Jupiter Ridge, that was this week. The thing that was killing me was I was trying to adjust my swing all the time and it was driving me crazy. Go to the driving range and ignore the back swing, just get the down swing perfect which is pretty easy. good luck and hope this helps
