Great designers questioning themselves because a couple people don't like a couple things? I wouldn't do that guys. Some people could play Augusta and watch The Godfather and hate both.

I would suggest the majority (albeit a slim margin) of people find Taste's course a little boring to play. It's a video game at the end of the day & many people (the majority) want more than just grinding out a round. It all comes down to fun factor versus playability versus realism. People are playing a video game - they wanna have fun in my opinion. Kiawah Ivory Coast is one for "the purists" I believe.... You only gotta take a peek at the public voting results to gauge that.

So from what I have watched and read, the majority loved the layout, but not so much the execution. @griff hates my bunkers. Don't worry, I have already changed how I do them on my next course. Thanks for all of the input on the course. I will give these remarks about it: 1.) I saw that someone noticed that the 18th green was on a minor yellow. I had just gone over that hole, and the course a 20th (not really) time and published since I was leaving on the 12th and had to pack. I played the published version on Twitch, and low and behold I saw it. I went to the designer and played from 20 different angles as I normally do, sure enough, on angle 20 it showed. I was so mad. 2.) I completely forgot to put a legit pathway between the 4th green and 5th tee. Between the intense bunkers (which I was going to use elsewhere but didn't find a place to put it). So that's why 4/5/6 bunker complex is out of place. 3.) I decided against LR to add an extra level of thought and emphasis for the golfer to stay on the fairways. I do understand how people feel about number 2 and 10. You can always lay up. It's a par 4 after all. There were a couple of reviews, I believe Canuk included that said that this course is sneaky difficult at times, which is what I wanted to acheive. It is why some lighting is how it is. Etc. 4.) I know that the F9 is sorta a mess, but I really like what I did with the B9, especially holes 13, 14, and 17.
Once again thanks.
More to come!
