New around here and enjoying it very much.
One question I have that I haven't been able to find a answer to is this. Is it within the rules for me to play tournaments for which I'm not registered for or qualify for?
I usually play 3-4 rounds a night which will knock out the scheduled tournament in a day or two. Would love to play some of the others to compete just for fun. They are public in game, but don't want to cause any problems or run afoul of the rules or etiquette.

Totally fair game - have at them - enjoy! Q-school included if you want to have another go to see how you'd fare now (for fun obviously)

Go to the community thread for some amazing tournaments. RRCC is the best ...no sign up just say hello and play. But there is different set ups for all kinds of tgc fun.

Like many, overly eager, i struggled badly in Q-School due to jumping in the deep end too soon, and feel im a much better player only two weeks later after much practice, reading and watching others play. Should be interesting to see how much better (or worse, which would be incredibly embarrassing) i would do now, hopefully significantly!

Yeah sometimes it's fun to see how you stack up against the big boys - and whether or not you would have made the cut. Shameless plug here but if you're over 50 you're welcome to join the Seniors Tour. Check us out in our thread found in Community Events. It's a fun, relaxed comp with just a touch of competitiveness.
