USA wins the Ryder Cup. Ya gotta throw them a cup every now and then or they'll stop playing I guess.
Grats to the team. Mickelson, Moore and Reid played some amazing golf.

Clarkes mistake for picking his buddy should have been Knox.

Clarkes mistake for picking his buddy should have been Knox. I agree, but one player wouldn't have made a difference in the end. The European team was just a bit weak this year IMO. Too many players out of form. And let's face it, players like Fitzpatrick & Sullivan are very good European Tour players, but not world class ones (yet) Meanwhile the Americans had so much strength in depth the World No 7 didn't even make the team, and being at home is a massive advantage. Disappointed, but a US victory adds some spice to the next one. It was getting a bit repetetive

Did anyone else think that once McIlroy and Reed had rolled in those ridiculous putts on 8 and gave each other a little fist bump it kind of took all the intensity out of their match? It had been astonishing up to that point. Mickelson against Garcia was the match of the day, great entertainment and Garcia deserved to roll in that putt on 18 for a half. Disappointing result but the Americans deserved their win, quite simply they putted better over all three days, and I would certainly question some of Clark's pairings especially in the Saturday fourballs. The Europeans threatened a fight back but once the red started going back up on the board it was all over. Congratulations 'Merica, we've got to let you win now and again or you end up throwing your toys out the pram and losing interest! Roll on winning it back in Paris
