why was Chris Wood not playing? I think Clark fell in to the trap of picking experience over form. Agree, Chris Wood was fantastic in the morning - bizarre not picking him in the afternoon. I like Westwood, but apart a 2nd at the Masters he's done almost nothing for 2 years. Crazy he was chosen over Knox who has two wins including a WGC. Let's face it, he was picked because he's Darren Clarke's Best Mate and that's it.

Despite how well he's played I would have given Pieters a rest last night too, the kid must be exhausted. Fitzpatrick and Sullivan are unlucky to have only played once too, I think Clark has got the balance completely wrong. We're closer than we were at Medina, but this time with no momentum and with our best players having all played 4 round already. Will take a real miracle to come back from that.

If we can win the first 3 games the yanks might panic. Looking at those first 3 games we can do it.

This Rory/Reid match is insane. Some of the best golf I have ever seen.

Every putt seems to be straight in on this course. Have they all jus found Sweeney spots or something?

This next hour is crucial. We're still in this! Only just. Boys at the top are doing their job (apart from Mcilroy who has ran into an inspired Patrick Reed) Will take a superhuman effort from the rookies at the back end to turn their matches around

Getting crucial now. 2 more points for the US to win it. Europeans are going to have to have a comeback of epic proportion.

Mickelson and Garcia tie in an amazing match. -10 birdies vs -9 birdies. It ended up halved as it should have been.
