Not everyone is able to play in their respective playoffs and there may be others that won't get to play in the Ryder Cup....sooooooo.... I have created a tournament that gives us a taste of the 2016 Majors. I played them in order so: Thurs - Magnolia National 2016 (Thursday Max Firm) Fri - Oakmont Country Club US Open Day 2 Sat - Royal Troon 2016 Open Day 3 Sun - The Baltasar, Springfield NJ. (Day 2 which was Day 4 for us) It runs for two weeks so it is for some fun and anyone who is board. Feel free to post your scores here as we have no other way to really check on them. No prizes, just something to do and bragging rights. It is called: 2016 Majors Redux Have fun! It runs for a week. *cept that Ian guy.

I played Magnolia and eagled #2 and #3. Never happens in a tourney. Got one more eagle. So 3 eagles two silly bogeys for a -10.
Next round no bogeys but a few missed putts. I nearly holed out on the par 3 #8. -8 there.

This looks like it will take care of my evening. I'll be sure to post scores when I'm done EDIT:- -4 -5 -10 -4 Nothing particularly good here, totally lost the ability to move the stick back and forward in a straight line. At Balthasar I somehow got a rhythm going on the back nine after being +3 through 3 and only pulling a shot back before the turn so hopefully I don't forget how that works moving forward.

Great idea Ron.
I went:
-10 (also 2 bogeys, but only 2 eagles) -10 (clean round with 1 eagle and -5 to finish the last 4 holes)

Nice round 3 there and good comeback on Baltasar. -10 on the second round is what I should have had but just too many putts gone by.

Baltasar was the hardest course we've played this season IMO. Especially that front 9 pin placement.

Baltisar just kicked my butt. For whatever reason my flopping/chipping/putting was completely off all round. Took an early double after flopping past the hole on the first par 3 and down the hill. Putted back to 5 feet, putted, past the hole and down the hill. After that I was trigger shy on everything, putts bleah. On the other end round three was much better I'm making some amazing putts now thanks too Boomer -26 overall.. Mr. Kuo was disqualified for hitting the wrong ball at one point and not adjusting his scorecard. Sorry buddy.

Well this was fun to play while sinking a few beers and watching the amazing FedEx final, cheers for setting up Mr Duncan.
-2 -2 -12 -3 = -19
3rd & 4th pretty good, first two I found difficult to dial back into hard greens & speeds without first practicing them to within an inch of their lives. Hard luck to Mr Kuo on the technical infringement - he's on fire atm and tore this one apart.
