A few days ago, just for fun since I was bored, I played August Q School and shot 46 under. I still have to pinch myself to make sure it wasn't a dream. PC players, feel free to follow my ghost.
A couple of days later, on the Web tour, I was so bad, my last 2 rounds, which wouldn't have counted anyway since rounds 1 and 2 were so bad, I couldn't even break par. You will find me pretty close to the bottom of the leader board on this one.
There are days I can do no wrong.
There are days I can do no right.
Yep, it's a very funny game.

There are days I can do no wrong. There are days I can do no right. Sounds like my marriage...

You will find me pretty close to the bottom of the leader board on this one. There are days I can do no wrong. There are days I can do no right. Yep, it's a very funny game. I've read a lot of posts where you talk about this scenario of re-playing Q-School. I feel like you are putting a lot of emphasis on Q-School being this ultimate judge of skill level for TGC. It is meant to be a measuring stick for a player's skill, but it can in no way capture how a player will perform long term at a certain level. That is why the different tours are set up they way they are now with players moving up and down relative to other players they face. In my opinion, that is the ultimate judge for where you should be placed in the hierarchy. Forget Q-school at this point. Playing it each month and seeing where you would land in the initial placement doesn't change anything for you. And I don't personally think it is the right measurement for you now since you have played the game a long time. It is not meant to be the perfect indication of where a player should compete on the tour. It is just meant as a guidance for where a player can potentially compete. You have worked up to Web now and have a chance to retain that level with the end of year tournament. I know you have expressed concern of the fairness of that, but the tour system will get you to the place you should be...eventually.
