If you want to quit so bad ask the admins to close your TGC Tours account. They have done it for others. Never thought of that.... Your options are:
A) Ask the admins to remove you from further competition completely B) Take a few week break from this game in general and stick to it. Come back refreshed and re-energized C) Take Yaters advice and get some help D) Keep doing what you have been doing for the past few months about how the game sucks

Load up Moe Slorkman s Slorking Sands and if you survive then play his William Wallace Ridge. It will make you want to pull your eyes from their sockets. The shear horror of them courses is enough to make a grown man cry ;-)

I would advise A & C together. This endles cycle of rage-regret-despair-hope-rage has just become a really unhealthy habit now. TGC is just a vehicle for a much more serious issue. Noone hates you Dan. In fact we're all rooting for you to sort out whatever needs sorting out. But you need to help yourself first man.

Even if you did get yourself removed you wouldn't be able to stay away you would just create a second profile called bang bang or something and come back win a bunch of comps get courses on tour and be a nice person till inspector Canuck realises Barry Banger isn't a real guy and I think we see where this is going. But seriously get them to suspend it for 2-4 weeks go to a doc get some exercise and talk about your sh%$. Look dude I'm as @!$#ed up as the next guy I went got help I'm improved still a bit mad but hey who isn't.

I've never made a single mistake in my life and always have my ducks in a row, so I can't pretend to understand what you're going through. However, doing nothing about it will only allow your situation to get worse. Seriously, get some help.
There was a time in my life where I let situations beyond my control get me down. My Colts losing a game would ruin my whole weekend (this back when they regularly went 3-13), or plans falling through because someone else had something come up. Since then, I've learned to go with the flow. I do my best to make things work out as intended, but there are some things you just have zero control over. Let them go. Change what you can, accept what you can't, and learn to tell the difference.
If TGC is no longer enjoyable for you, then move on. At least take a few weeks off, then try it again. If it's still no fun, then just give it up and find your next TGC, whatever that may be. Getting drunk is not the answer. It may make you temporarily forget your problems, but they'll still be there when you sober up. Last bit of advice: get help. You owe it to yourself.

Well Chaoz I have told you privately what I feel you need to do. You laughed at it and said you didn't need any help and then later said it wouldn't do any good.
You have come to the board for a public apology and thus you have made it public so I will say again, use that universal health insurance in your country and get some professional help with your anger issues. It is unhealthy that an online game can affect you so personally. No one here can make you do anything or stage an 'intervention' of any sort so it all falls on you.
I do believe you need help and like those gambling addicts who request casinos to put them on a ban list so they don't blow through their entire savings, you have said here maybe you want the admins to ban you from tournaments. Let me let you in on a little secret, that isn't their job. Their job isn't to make you stop playing to make your life better. The most they will do is ban you fully from the forums for being unpleasant or breaking rules, tho note if they do, there will be no coming back even if you want it. They aren't here to 'help' you by 'preventing you from playing or registering in tournaments.' Their job is to run a fun site where people who want to play and be here can do so in a way that is as fun and competitive for others. They don't need the extra work of having to 'police' you for how ever many days/weeks/months you want them to keep you from playing because you can't control yourself. It is unfair to even consider asking them that and it is selfish.
I will say again, if you want a perma ban I'm sure they can help you out with that, but understand it is a permanent ban, there is no coming back. I highly suggest once again you take the advice of several here and go seek the professional help many think you would gain from getting. I think you are a good guy for the most part, but you have some issues that you really should get some help with.
Until then it is on YOU, not anyone else, least of all the admin. It isn't their responsibility, it is yours. Time to man up. Or not. That is completely up to you.

But second account would be very likely... I suggest B and C in the poll, possibly followed by A.

If it helps, this game can get to me at times as well. Only on Monday did my wife bollock me for using too many expletives. I think you are just competitive and its hard not to play well all the time, it just so happens golf is the most infuriating of games. I work on a golf course and the amount of bad language and thrown clubs, divots in green, etc etc. I encounter is a lot. you are no different to these people. if you are more prone to losing your temper like me then when you are about to lose it then take 5, tell yourself to stop and think, go make a cup of tea of play something else, I learned that from having a daughter who is hard work at times!
