Are the wind conditions the same for everyone in each round? In official tournaments the directions are nearly identical and the speeds are within 1-2 mph at most, so to answer your question.. yes with very minor (I'd call the inconsequential) differences. Edit: Also, welcome to the tour and forums!

That's what I thought, I was wanting to make sure. And thanks for the warm welcome, you'll see me popping up in the forums here and there (probably with more dumb questions haha)

Just cruise around and look at some of the support threads. You can usually find an answer to your questions there.

Yeah I've been exploring the forums for a couple days already finding all sorts of valuable information to improve my game (I'm starting in CC-C). I've owned this game since it was released but haven't played much. I randomly stumbled upon the tgct searching for images of one of my local courses on google that happened to be a course on the tgct haha. Maybe I'll earn my degree and progress to the stupid comments like you someday (one can dream ).

There are no stupid questions - just stupid people As noted already, winds in the official tournament rounds are nearly identical. If you just play around on a course though, they can vary quite a bit. Sometimes I practice a round on the course for a tournament and load up a ghost or two. I see them out drive me by 30 yards on a hole and then the reverse is true another hole. A lot of areas to work on to improve your game. Understanding the affect of wind and elevation is a big one. Understanding how the ball bounces/rolls on certain green types is another. And of course the short game is key - chipping / flopping / putting are what separates the top guys from everyone. It takes some time but the journey is fun!
