I would be butt hurt right now, but I got my butt removed through surgery.
Anyway, the thing that is causing the jalapeño peppers releasing their juices in my ass is this: deep bunkers.
Unless you're doing an RCR, I really hate deep bunkers, especially when it takes three or four tries to get out of them. Even in real life. Anyway, I want to see what people think of these bottomless pits of dog s*** that people create. Maybe part of my hate against them is TGC physics, where absolutely everything plugs. Today I was golfing and I hit a lob wedge into a bunker on the carry and it didn't plug.
Anyway, do you love or hate deep bunkers?

I like a bunker to be a hazard. So I guess so. It's what makes the postage stamp such a good hole at Royal Troon. The trick is having a relatively easy shot be combined with a relatively difficult punishment. Sawgrass at 17 with the water is another example of that. Short hole and just a wedge for most players but if you fail you get severely punished.

There's a hazard, and then there's complete BS.

Simple young Jacob! Don't hit your shots into bunkers ! Ha ha ha
Kidding bud .... I'd rather hit out of a bunker than some heavy rough where you get a 71 percenter just from gently rolling into it

If RCRs can do it, so can people's own creations. Not sure why different rules would apply to RCRs

Deep green side I don't mind as long as I can still flip out toward the hole. Deep fairway bunkers I don't like...fairway bunkers should be more shallow

Sometimes bunkers should be massive deterants, that seriously make you contemplate the shot you're about to hit. If it fits the course, I think back to when I played Carnoustie and got on 14 and said no matter what I am not hitting it in those things. But hey to each their own, I wouldn't chirp people for not liking that, I just thought it was pretty cool when I went on a Scottish tour a few years back and without water, trees or ob there was just some no go zones.

It's a hazard. No other words necessary.
