Hey guys, I'm here on a more serious note. I won't name names or anything, but I'd just like people to know that you should take your rounds seriously, especially in team events like Loughrey's Ryder and Presidents cups and the pro-am. I really don't care if this happens when you're playing a really crazy course, like water insane world or trailer park, but please, I've seen this countless numbers of times, no matter if I'm part of the event or not. I'm not trying to start any fights, I just wanted a friendly reminder that you playing bad on purpose doesn't only effect you. Thanks.

Gotta agree with JK here. I don't give a rat's ss if you want to F up your own individual round or rage quit, but in a team event, or when playing online with others, take a breath and look beyond yourself and recognize that your actions are also impacting others. I can't recall if such behaviour contravenes the Straight-Shooter / Member Expectations guidelines, but I would support any TGCT sanctions against those who deliberately diminish the enjoyment that others get from playing this game.

To be a douchebozzle in a team event is just outright harsh.

To the best of my knowledge, those are not tgct events, they are seperate to the TGC tours events. They can't impose penalties on people. Best thing to do is to report it to the person running the event and ask that they not be allowed to participate in the next one.

Just saw this post and agree 100%... I actually stress much more when playing a team event because I don't want to let my partner down. I always try my best and concentrate my hardest. I'm playing the Capricorn team event and try so hard because I know I'm playing for my partner as well. I try hard when I play my PGA events, but I can handle letting myself down. It's not fair or sportsman like to just say to heck with it when paired up.

Maybe just a public shaming thread stickies in the community events forum!

I'm not mad about it, I just want to say in the future what should happen. I've seen it many times by many different people.
I'm also not trying to make anyone mad. I'm trying to keep it calm. I just wanted to bring up the point because I thought it needed to discussed.
