I think it would be cool to add hometowns to our profiles(City,State,Country) instead of just a flag.
Just like in real life when a golfer steps up to the tee, the started announces that player and home town.

We discussed it when we first launched but ultimately decided against adding them. People have different levels of comfort when it comes to online privacy and we decided on leaning toward being more inclusive and less invasive.

State? Figuring out what to use for each country would be a bit of a headache and it would be a long list.
Osaka-tou? Fife? Bretange? Hunan? Gujarat? Västmanland? Yorkshire?

LOL!! I can just imagine how many members would answer "State" with: Confusion, Altered, Shock, Paranoid, etc.

All I'm saying is that a lot of people would *jokingly* enter stuff like State (of) Confusion, Altered State. Plus a lot of TGCT players don't happen to live in any "state".

I wouldn't mind a city option, but completely understand the privacy concerns.

I've always wondered why some players has flags against their name showing they're from England, Scotland, etc whereas most of us show as being from Great Britain?
