If you are playing in a different flight on a sponsors exemption.
Do you still receive an X if you are below the Demotion line? I probably deserve it the way I played.

And in a related vein at the other end of the spectrum, what happens if you're playing in the next tier up on an exemption and finish above that tier's sponsor exemption line? Do you move up again, or just get the card for that tier?

...what happens if you're playing in the next tier up on an exemption and finish above that tier's sponsor exemption line? Do you move up again, or just get the card for that tier? Most likely result: You earn your card for the next tier, AND earn another exemption for 2 flights up. So, if you have a CC-E tour card and are playing on exemption in CC-D, you'll earn your CC-D card (if you're within 10 shots of the top exempt player) and earn an exemption into CC-C. However, it is possible to earn an exemption to CC-C but fail to earn your CC-D card in a rare set of circumstances.

Thank you for the explanation. There are a couple of guys in CC-C this week that this applies to as things currently stand, so I was just curious.
