.......... A quick word on the course, fantastic course, no bells and whistles, nothing tricked out, what you see is how it plays, poor shots are strictly down to poor golfing, so I can't even blame the course for my poor round dammit. Have fun all. Enjoyed the read, Sorry to hear you struggled! Appreciate the kind words on the course!

Watcher of the Watchers Report 40 Hours Remaining With 40 Watchers to finish there first 2 rounds the Watchersafezone remains at -13. -12 is 98% up 9% for TonyDDon and hilyerchris . Only a matter of time -11 is 78% up 7% for sportsmen10 and kckfire to get to the safezone! -10 is a 55% down 1% will the Watchers be haunting the bogeyman 's dreams tonight??? very unlikely IMO. -9 is a 38% down 5% the slide into the watchers grasp has begun for danandsons , mrooola and BMann1976 -8 is a 5% down 9% and dead to rights for our newest Irish Webber L'Damian Biyombo-McGavin . Now there's a strong midlands name . Projected Cutline : -10

Don't want to drag anyone down, but kind of hoping I'll miss the cut. Could use the time elsewhere

Well, it was a very brief visit to mix you with web guys and gals. On exemption from A and shot 7 under first round. Second round and nothing would drop and that's the difference I think and what separates the top players from the rest of us.
Fantastic course though, really loved it and a real test of all your skills.
Hope to be back soon, but got my clubs packed up and jetting off back to CC A. I will close the door on the way out! Best of luck to you lot and hope to do battle again soon.

I'm currently down in A, but decided I was going to start playing the web courses to see if I'd make the cut and familiarize myself with them. Shot -5 combined for the first two rounds. Is this your typical web course or is it a difficult one? Either way I have a lot of work to do I would say it's in the difficult side, not the hardest but there has been a lot more easier than this.

Well time for me to stand up and tee off this week. I love the course by the way, difficult but not unfair.
Round 1 I'd been having swing issues recently and it was no surprise I sliced it into the rough off the first tee. I was already thinking I was going to have a nightmare. I managed to get it a fair way up the fairway and then amazingly flopped in for birdie. That really got me in the mood for the round. I played some great shots, especially approaches from distance but putting was poor and I missed a good few chances. I probably took the hardest birdie chance but was disapointed to be -2 after 9. The theme continued on the back 9, chances made but not taken. Typically I chipped in for eagle on the 13th and at that point I was at -5, not a bad position. My standards slipped after that though and I was gutted to drop a shot on the 17th, I over hit a 5 foot par putt but managed to make a 10 foot return. A par on the last left me at -4. Putting again let me down, the swing was certainly better but not bullet proof. Time for round 2.

Glad to hear you say that. I approached this week full of confidence having played well in CC-A for a few weeks to get here, did OK in practise, and then completely stunk the place up. 4 bogies I can live with but 26 pars in two rounds ain't going to cut it at this level. Happy to see a desert course up next. Shot my only under par Q-School round at Wildfire Ridge, and got my two CC wins at Red Rock and Scottsdale Silverado. Hoping that the Arizona Black Diamond is where I make my first cut because after this week that would feel like a win. Good luck in your next round, -10 looks like the target.

Giraffe72 Best of luck for next week then and thanks for the encouragement. Well I had less bogeys than you, one one per round but I think I had about the same number of pars, maybe 27 actually. I had a frustrating 2nd round where to be honest I didn't play well but I still was left to rue many lip outs and near misses, ended up -2 and -6 in total. After my good performance to get my exemption chance to the Euros I've failed miserably back in this tour. Here's hoping a change is around the corner.

With our rises and dramatic falls this season Dean we should start our own gang maybe recruit mrooola aswell! All we need is a name and matching golf shirts!

Looks like I've made the cut and played steady the 3rd round, only to blow up in the final round. I struggled in the high winds in places and shot a poor +4.
