Here's my quandary..... I have read in spots about using Ghost it to trace out holes and such to recreate a RCR but for the life of me, I cant make it work correctly....
I did this back in PGA2000 and it worked great, but here is the issue.... in PGA2000 the architect plot sat in a particular spot and the curser is what moved all over the place... so using Ghost it was easy
Seems like when I open my google map here, then ghost it the plot in TGC moves instead of just the cursor... So its virtually impossible to be able to trace out a hole using this....I've read some have used it and Bryan tried to help me but I cant get it to work... Its like you get the hole where you want it with the google map ghosted, but once you choose to lay down say a green texture and move the cursor on the plot its almost like the google map is moving all over the place even though it isn't... I know this doesn't make a bit of sense, but I got frustrated as hell trying to make it work last night
So I read CLV's great tutorials and started marking off distances, after about an hour I had a green laid down.....it was accurate but I just wonder how long that's gonna take
Any help on Ghost it would be most appreciative...Ive ghosted the TGC window and then the Google map and it just doesn't want to cooperate....If ghost it doesn't work then Ill just continue on the route of distance measuring if I need too
thanks ahead of time....

Been a while for me, and i'm a forgetful lad, but yeah things move.
Here's how I recall overcoming that. So assuming you have the transparency all set, you can see through and work in the gncd and have google all fired up and ready.
In google alone, I will use the ruler tool and mark the hole from the back tee, to the middle of the green throwing in a waypoint just like the gncd in creating a hole.
You should have a line in google now with a very precise measurement, the line will be straight for a par 3, and bent maybe for a par 4.
Now in the Gncd create your hole with everything minimized, small green no rough no tee no fairway, just a line, again bent or straight depending, but watch your distances, make the gncd lines the same distances as the google maps or bluegolf lines.
I use a mouse and KB for gncd work, if you use a controller, my help is done now.
In the game settings you can set the mouse wheel scroll setting for the gncd, I set mine to 4. It makes for small, very slow, very precise scaling.
Now that that is set, you should now have the ability to very precisely line up your GNCD hole, to the google hole perfectly. That will give you the ability to start the trace, and if something jumps, just line up your lines again and the distances.
It really just takes a little patience and practice, for very fine scaling I will draw a line across the green in google with the ruler, use the distance tool in the gncd and scroll in for very finite work.
Its a slog, it's not fast, it takes a long time, you will not do this in a few hours, it can take days per hole. With practice things can move along better, and you can develop some shortcuts.
