Argh. Can't remember my score for the first two rounds and my notebook is missing. I knew I should have posted on the forums right away... Probably won't make the cut this time so I'm not super psyched to play round 3 to check out I will pull up your ghost ball when I play my rounds tonight.... Or we can just assume you shot my score, plus a stroke or two. on another note, where does this Tony guy get off shooting a -17 in round 1 ?? That's setting the bar a bit high no? Thnx Nick. Fairly sure it will be more than a stroke or two this week.

Top 10 last week
Cut this week probably don't follow my ghost between sub 100 shots unfortunate bounces and putts missing by millimetres everywhere.
Had my first full on blow up in a while and in the second round and hacked to a finish probably costing myself the weekend.
-9 -5
Great course loved playing it before today and will love playing it after today. Just going into my internet supplier tomorrow and boxing them grrrrrr.
Rant over lets go back to normal.
Best of luck men

Second time in 4 weeks playing on an exemption on Web.com tour. Let's hope things go differently this time around. Playing at least one round tonight...maybe two if I'm feeling it. Here we go.

Wow, I suck
This will be my last tour event for a while. Not playing enough anymore so It is time for a break. It has been a lot of fun and I will be back at some point without a doubt.
Thanks everyone for the kind works on the course and to Moe and his rangers for everything they do to pick quality courses. I do love this course and the green contours are a huge part of making the firm greens play more fun. I'm surprised I haven't seen any comments on the par 5, 16th Friday pin. It's a shot that can make you feel like a hero with a big high cut 5 wood. But if you leave it up top you are in big trouble.
-5 -4
I will finish out the tour this weekend just for fun, but that won't be making the cut.

I know I am not yet a seasoned player but after seeing Tony's 55 in the first round, I am wondering what was I thinking in my first round. -5 first, -9 second, and kept improving for rounds 3&4, although now not sure I should have even bothered entering round 3&4 scores, but I did last night.

I was trying to do the fade in using the slope but used the wrong club and left myself way up top after my second shot. The putt back had me thinking for a while. Even tried to use the fringe to slow it down but failed. It snaked around and ended up just in the rough without going into the bottom bunker. I then chipped in for my birdie. :-) Great design. I'm really enjoying this course. So far despite the red slopes there have been no silly pins. You just have to place your approach shots right and use the various slopes appropriately. If you don't you can be left with some monster putts. I left myself one 32 foot putt that was 36" down. I'm not sure how you apply the 1 foot back for 1 inch drop marker rule for that! I ended up putting in the opposite direction and still shot past the hole. Fun!

I had two of my worst rounds on the game in round 3&4.
Hooking, slicing, missing 3 foot putts...68 in both rounds.
My playing partner who hadn't beaten me in over a month thrashed me by 11 shots which summed it all up.

Watcher of the Watchers Report 43 Hours remainingScoring this week is just plan weird TonyDDon has a 7 shot lead his score didnt surprise me everyone elses did we'll have a really low cut this week. Watchersafe zone is -14 nickweis's dips and rises have caused some serious problems this week for the Webbers obviously. -13 is a 84% shot for the weekend were we have an out of sorts mrooola-12 is a 66% chance were we have Jacqui Neil and John Hibbs looking to earn there Web card -11 is a 44% shot for scampi00 xraylucy and bigtallchris to bet the bubble -10 has a 19% chance of Jason Finch to hang onto his web card -9 and worse are cut. My reports will be sporadic at best this week as it delivery week in my Job so free time will be a luxury haha Revised prediction : -12 will be the cut

In the hope I will make the cut, I decided to play round three today. I put myself in difficulty from the off by missing the fairway from the tee. No idea how I managed to get a par out of it but somehow I did. A par on the second as well but not so good this time missing a short putt, I should have dropped a shot on the first, should have had birdie on second so it all evens out, that's my excuse for such a bad putt. Another poor putt on the third and another par, I just hit the ball to softly getting no where near the hole, a long way to go but I have to start picking up shots soon. Luckily, the next hole was a par five where the green can be hit in two. I hit the green in two, my ball did not stay on the green but I did hit it in two which is the only positive I can think off since a poor chip and putt brought another par. The good news from five today, I did not go in the water, I then over hit my approach and could only make par, I see a pattern emerging here. My par streak is over and I broke the streak in spectacular style. My tee shot went off the back of the green leaving a short chip, my chip shot missed the cup and rolled fifty feet down the slope, I did not hit my putt hard enough and it stopped about half way up the slope leaving a very difficult putt just for bogey. It was then my putter decided to work and that putt dropped. That was a fun hole, birdie chance to possible double to getting away with just the one dropped shot. I got a birdie, I got a birdie, oooo yeah. I also got fined a thousand euro of virtual money for slow play after my victory dance went on to long. I'm on a roll now, two birdies in a row, OK both holes were easy and birdies had to be made but after the start I had, I was not taking anything for granted, just happy to be under par for the first time in the round. I ended the front nine with a par after I failed to use the green contours to my advantage. It has been a tough nine holes for me, hopefully I can push on a bit on the back nine.
A good start to the back nine, I got the roll I wanted from the back of the green to leave me a easy birdie putt. The first time this round that every thing went to plan. The eleventh was all about the lip of the cup, my approach rolled over the lip, my birdie putt rolled over the lip, could have been eagle, should have been birdie, just a par. I got twelve all wrong, over hit my second shot and watched it go up the slope to the back of the green. A impossible to stop eagle putt ended up on the fringe leaving the easiest of shot chips, I put it six feet past the hole leaving a tricky par putt. Thankfully I got that one right to prevent a complete disaster. Thirteen brought another missed chip, nine times out of ten I make these shots, today they are just not dropping. This time I lipped out,the way I am playing, I am going to welcome all pars with open arms. Guess what happened on fourteen, I'll give you a hint, I was off the green after my approach, yes you got it, a missed chip and par. I finally picked up another shot on fifteen, a good tee shot left a six foot birdie putt that even I could not miss today. With nothing to lose, I went pin seeking on sixteen and a fabulous second shot gave me a great chance of eagle, I lipped out, not my day. A terrible approach on seventeen sent my ball flying left into the heavy rough around twenty yards from the cup. I flopped it in for birdie, I will never understand this game. A safe par to finish at five under.
That felt like a real round of golf, ups and downs. I did not play well, the conditions were not hard, birdie was possible on most holes, I just did not play well enough to make or take those chances. I am surprised to see my score at five under, it felt worse. Despite that, I had fun out there, trying to avoid bogey while picking up shots when I could. Like I said, it felt like a round of golf, can't wait to see what round four brings.

Read my reports, It makes you look silly otherwise Started writing my report before the watchers report was up. It can take anything from 30 minutes to a hour to write mine so I am usually behind by the time I post. It was a nice surprise though to see it after I posted because now I have round four to look forward to. Enjoying Killarney immensely, Nick did a great job on the four round settings.
