I plan to let this course grow as naturally as possible. Primarily because of time but also because I need to ease back in to the tools. It's ok. I like natural layouts best anyway Me too... Just hope it starts to flow once I get a couple holes out the way

I now have 3 different courses in the works:( Burned myself out a little bit in the designer over the weekend. I'm going to take a few days off and then get a refreshed set of eyes on these to pick a direction. Once I have a direction I usually move pretty quickly but I've never really had to force myself to commit to something before so who knows how it will turn out.

It's not easy being creative on demand. I think mine looked better in my head thus far. Ploughing on for now see where it gets me As a designer would love more time to work on it. As a player... can't wait to see the finished products. I do think holding off releasing the courses until the last few days would be pretty exciting Good luck everyone

I started, deleted, started, deleted, started, deleted.... Then I quit for the night and started the next day again and just finished up a hole letting it dictate the route/direction.... I got it pretty much completed, then built the second hole
semi-planted the two, and now I have a direction finally... About to finish up the fifth hole, but realize, here soon there is going to be a massive amount of work to plant this course and make it presentable... those little intangibles are what is going to take me ages to complete...
Cant wait to see what everyone comes up with as well...

Finally nailed down a direction to take things. 3 holes in and should start moving along now. Not as quickly as a normally would work since the direction I chose is the most ridiculously labor intensive option. Now I need to design my way out of this mess.

Regardless of who wins, I will most definitely win the "prettiest opening tee shot" award. Everytime I go to play test and see it on the main menu I just get distracted a little bit and forget what I was doing.
I'm 4 holes in, definitely have my direction and style. I'm still looking for the thing that will make the course distinct and stand out. I have a feeling alot of the courses will look the same.
Also, I hate seeing some of those names on the sidelines, but I understand. That's a lot of courses to judge.

I'm going to have to pull out of my wait list spot, sorry guys. Things have come up at work and I'm not going to have to time to complete this to the quality I would like. I look forward to playing the finished courses.

Been working pretty hard on this one for a few days... have 9 holes down , semi planted (mostly placeholder ) still will have to go around and smooth everything and fiddle with my lighting to get it just how I want it to look... pretty happy with the direction so far, but still a LONG way to go....9 more to go.. probably break time for a few days...
Hope everyone is enjoying the process so far... its nice to be in the designer and really trying to think about certain shots in places, pin placements, angles, and overall eye candy when playing...
Fun fun lol...

Speaking of pin placements...Obviously setting up for multi-pin but will the actual event be multi-pinned? Should I be submitting the "Sunday" version for the contest entry?
