I'm borrowing this from something I red on the PGA forums and some topics here and there. Basically couple of people from time to time "teamed up" (even if tier rivals) to get through a course together before a tourney - just quick overviews wiith a fresh pair of eyes alongside. Or even on non-comp related courses just to exchange opinions. Maybe player A would do something different/more effective than player B or vice versa in a given situation and both could improve each other gameflow. Kinda like watching a stream but more "personal" and focused. Worked for them apparently; could work for anyone IMHO. Of course this also could be a casual alternate-play round for fun This is more for the middle-pack players like myself or struggling ones I think. I'm pretty sure TOP 3/5's won't need anything and/or share any of their deep knowledge (and that's perfectly fine of course ). Anyways as I brought this up I am available for any kind of golf round: opinion exchanging, casual rounds just for fun, vocal chat, test chat, no chat . I'd truly like to play some alternate-play round with fellow Euro Tour comrades from time to time. If you thinks this could be good I'll encourage to hit me up both on PS4 and PC (both ID are below my avatar). Besides Wednsdays and Thursdays I'm available everyday; I live on GMT+1 timezone but I'm totally flexible about time If you think this is all BS it's fine too - I can totally live with that

I'm down for a bit of this from time to time. Give me a shout. My PSN username is Millsatron. Out of interest, how is this game on PC? I have always thought it would be easier/more accurate?? Probably being naive here, but I can imagine pressing the back key and then then the forward key! Accuracy levels 100%!

Accuracy levels 100%! The experience on PC depends on your setup. TGC puts quite a burden on the graphics card, so if your machine isn't built for gaming, then your experience on PS4 will be much better. The mouse swing is different from a gamepad, but for me, I only get 87% drives with my gamepad. That's obviously not the typical case.

Corr, I can imagine the mouse swing being very volatile. Ha. Thanks Erix

The reason why I switched from PS4 to PC (for the tourneys at least) is how much more fluid the game is on PC compared to PS4 - if you have a decent setup of course. Frame rate wise playing 60+ fps rock solid is like 10 times better; when I get back to PS4, to play CC tourneys along my buddy which is still there, for example, I almost can't stand the frame drops on some circuit. On others you can't even feel it of course Of course this has nothing to do with how well you play - that's not gonna change.

Corr, I can imagine the mouse swing being very volatile. Ha. Thanks Erix It isn't that bad, but I'm prone to twist the mouse slightly at the top of the backswing causing a slice. If my follow-through is too long, then I end up with a candy cane swing path. Gamepad joysticks don't twist and have a finite distance they can be pushed, so the gamepad has some advantages.

I encourage you to try stock XB1 controller - is a little oversensitive but I'm finding it super consistent in avoiding any kind of slice

I've just reverted back to my battered old PS4 control that has the rubber grip hanging off, because the analog stick is far more fluid than the new pad.. Some times a worker shouldn't change his tools. Well, any time either of you are up for a game. Give me a shout.

Sounds like a fine idea Andrea - I always find an alternate game great fun. GMT+1 as well and play at the strangest hours so same flexibility. Steam doecoba.
