Oh boy. I'm looking at the early scores in triple C for this one and they're off the charts. Granted, it's only 8 posted so far but the worst score is 5 under. In order to even have a prayer to not get a demotion strike, you need to shoot 10 under.
I'm hoping as more scores come in (I'll need at least 30 to make my weekly prediction) things will get a little more manageable. But right now, it is not looking good for us mortals.
I'll be putting off playing this until I get enough data to know what I'm actually up against.

I finished 3rd on CC-D last tournament, CC-C this week is going to be impossible. I can't shot -7 every game to avoid strike. Well, let's enjoy the experience and have fun.

Right now the scores in C are even better than they are in B, and I ought to know I just got stuck back in B again, and was only demoted to C 2 weeks ago. I wish they would just setup tours for each range of golfers and leave them that way. If you win 3 times in a specific tour then you should move up, but this move up and move down thing constantly is a real pain. Not only that but my moving up or down I thought it put you in a more compeitive range for your own scores. That same tour I got kicked out of 2 weeks ago I'm now back in, now tell me that makes any sense.

You shot -12 in round 1, placing you in 2nd place after 19 players have submitted scores. It seems you can compete in CC-B.
Keep that up and you'll end up in Web.com where you can't be demoted.
The strength of the fields among Web.com, CC-A and CC-B are very similar.

I'm really struggling to understand your gripe - so far across all the CC tiers 147 have submitted a first round score, and only 5 have shot lower than you (including the CC-A players). And you say you don't belong in B? Sorry fella, I don't get it.

Well got my D card from last weeks performance. Now surprisingly I got an exemption this week in the same breath! I don't expect much from this week as the last time I played this course it ate me up. I'm going into this one without any stress which usually helps the game a little bit. All I have to do is place in the top 70 AND be behind ten strokes of the exempt leader. That's it....ya I can do that....surely I can do that haha.

I was 1 shot back of you last week finishing 4th. Last time I played on C, I was promptly sent back down. I did ok this week but left some shots out there for sure and had some brain lapses. We'll see how this holds against the field. 63 64 66 65 -30 total

It's 15 strokes now, at least according to the Info bit - looks like it's been changed?

We're back to regular exemptions and demotions now.
To get an exemption into the next class (except from A to Web and Z to E) you need to be in the top 10% of the field. A and Z, you need to be in the top 5% of the field.
In order to not get a demotion strike, you need to be in the top 60% of the field.
In order to clear any demotion strikes that you have, you need to be in the top 22.5% of the field.
Hope this helps anybody who is a little confused.

I could be mistaken though So did I, but if you look at the 'Info, Rules and Policy' section on the main site, under 'Earning a Promotion' it now says top 70 and within 15 shots. It used to say 'within 10 shots OR in the top 3 exemptions.' I think the rule has changed?
All the other rules are as @wagtunes stated above.
