I saw on Sky before I left the house that there was strong indications that Rafa could replace McClaren at Newcastle so a loss might make that happen sooner. As a Liverpool fan I have nothing but respect for Rafa and I think he would do a great job with Newcastle to be honest. He would bring some discipline and make you's hard to beat, and if you's beat the drop this season he would have Newcastle back as a permanent top half premier league club when he moulds the team his way. As an Aussie who doesn't know a whole lot about the EPL I liked the way Newcastle played under Kevin Keegan. Or maybe that's a bit before you young blokes time? Peter I'd be very careful Mentioning Keegan's name to LFC fans although he might have done a good job for them once I think his 2nd reign at that club that I wont mention the name twice in a post was more telling about of his scouser abilities haha

I think I'm the only Sunderland fan on tgct, and so I speak for all Sunderland fans on here, when I say please don't sack mclaren, we'd be in the bottom 3 if it wasn't for the wally with the brolley's hard work

Lucky escape, I know from his time at Middlesbrough that he was no good. The boro fans couldn't believe it when England came in for him. He was only a few games from the sack at Boro

Nice rounds gentlemen. Lots of good scores, even in high scores. I have a little problem: my GPU has failed me and I won't be able to complete my rounds this week, neither next week as I will RMA it. I don't know how long it will take, what do I have to do to avoid being demoted? You won't be demoted, you might get a dq strike, 2 of them mean missing a week but if send a email explaining I am sure that will be avoided as well. Maybe with draw if registered for the next couple of events but outside that, you should be fine. Hope you get computer problems sorted soon before withdrawal symptoms kick in. Thanks for the answers gentlemen. I've made some reading on the rules page and indeed, it seems you can't get demoted from the Web.Com tour. One of my friend lent his GTX 750 to me, so I should be able to participate in the weekend rounds and into next week, but we will see. I'm just glad to have GPU to atleast practice.

Keegan was amazing first time round. We'll never see days like it again. I saw it all first had. If only we had won the league. Still though, I'll always have those memories. Second time round there were signs we were turning the corner but then the fat man brought in Dennis Wise and sold Milner from under his feet. Keegan is a man of principals. He also knew what was needed at the club. He'll always be a hero of mine. Rafa is a great choice for manager, we actually have some good players but they lack motivation. I could go on all day. Fingers crossed a change is made sooner rather than later. About time we got a new manager before a derby game! Now for the 3rd round. I'm very nervous!

I'm not sure what's going on with my game right now. So increadibly inconsistent. Last week's 61 61 71 71 is now followed up with 59 69. That 59 was with 2 stupid bogeys and when I say stupid I mean proper. One of them was a lip out birdie putt that took off and ended in a bogey. This last round... forget about it... it was painful to play. I almost cried when I got a birdie on 18....
I'm not amused...

Watcherseve Watcher of the Watchers Report 30 Hours Remaining
Busy 11 hours on the board alot of movement not great news for the lower end of earliers post The Watcher safe zone is now at -14 so Johnny Adkins joins Shaun Devlin, Gordon Vanwagner, and Ashley Manaley. as new webbers -13 is a 97% up 17% to make it good news for hilyerchris . -12 is 78% up 12% saintlineker has popped up here after his Euro trip last week -11 is a 47% down 3% hmammoth going the wrong direction but should just squeek in. -10 is a 22% down 12% bogeyman criticised my stats earlier and as I was technically a Watcher this week it looks like the Watchers are banding together to wipe him off the board -9 / -8 / -7 have all been knocked of the board My advise for next week take your free time get to the gym and hit the weights, next week is a monster. See you all in the morning men

A mediocre 3rd round will have set me back unfortunately. I struggled to get it close and the time none of my longer putts went in. I had a few chipping opportunities today but I wasn't able to hole any. It was a solid round in a way but to stay at the top you need more than that. Only a -5 this time!!!!

A slow start to round 4 and finally a good chance to birdie on 5. 4 foot putt missed and the 5 foot return. That's me well and truly out of this weeks exemption race! One back on 6 but then 3 putt on 7. Why do I always do this. Time to clear my head. I knew I should have left this round until tomorrow. How many of these putts are going to shave the hole. So frustrating!!! Finally after missing an easy chip in on 15 I get one on 16. Still only -4 though. Even par after 9 so I think getting to -6 on the back 9 was a mental achievement. I fell away from my great first round and good 2nd round but I managed to salvage some pride, birdies on the last 3 holes changed my mood somewhat. Solid tournament for me but certainly a week of what might have been.

After playing 3 rounds very early i finally got around to finishing this so I could see my first round scores. I didn't feel good about my rounds at all, not because of the wind so much, but because of my putting...
I felt like I managed the wind fairly well, however it seemed like many of the breaks were random and inconsistent on these greens... I probably wasn't hitting it in the right spots to leave easy putts.
Won't be anything to write home about in my return to the Web, but I should be safe to make the cut and make a few $$ with a middle of the pack finish. -15 after two, followed by a -8 and a dissapointing -3 Sunday.
On to next week.
