For what its worth...I started a Tour for this one PP31's CCW22 Tune
I absolutely abhor this course because of the theme. I hope we don't see any more tropicals for the rest of the season. I can't even give the course a fair shake because of the theme.
It is kinda funny that the Vietnam Open is being held in Hawaii on American soil though

African Open is held in Scotland I think the historical significance is eluding you. It would be like having a tournament called "The Pearl Harbor Memorial" played in Japan

got one as well CC22 Feel free to try them both folks probably different winds and conditions. Tim, I just played the first round on your setup. Shot 7 under. At first I was a bit surprised that they'd choose a narrow spaghetti string fairway course for CC but it doesn't really play that hard. Key is accuracy off the tee. There is almost no room for error there because of how the fairways are laid out. But the greens aren't too tough and at 164 speed and what appears to me medium firmness, putting is a cake walk. I see you shot 10 under on the one ghost I played against. Interesting course. A little nerve wracking off the tee, but once I'm past the tee shot, I'm fine. Should be an interesting week as my first week in D after I get sent back down from my C sponsor's exemption this week.

I kind of like this course. Some fun shots out there.
Wait till you get to round 2 or 3 cant remember. 18mph winds lol. My ghosts kind of fell apart in round 2 and on. Im going through my post tournament golf burnout. Next day or two is just farting around and some rangering before i start the gear up to the next tournament.
Edit crap. Replying to Wags. Never used the quote on my phone half blind lol. Speed typer Ola beat me as i was pecking away.

Okay, finished playing Tim's setup
Round 1 - 7 under Round 2 - 6 under Round 3 - 1 under (winds) Round 4 - 6 under
Total - 20 under
And that's just one run through. My gut tells me that unless winds are blowing in the actual event, scores are going to be super low. I can see 55 under in D class taking this. That's scary. Strike line will probably be between 20 and 24 under so I'm going to have to bring my "A" game and hope the winds don't act up in more than one round.

Anyway, gave my new tour setup a spin Round 1 - 6 under Round 2 - 1 under (winds) Round 3 - 1 over (winds) Round 4 - 2 under Total - 8 under By the 4th round I was just plain exhausted from rounds 2 and 3. Playing this course in strong winds is just brutal. Too many twisty fairways make hitting them a crap shoot. Having said that, I do love this course. It's a great challenge in the winds. If they're calm, I expect 40 under or better to take this in D class and 20 under to be demotion strike line. This may turn out to be a tough week for me if I can't somehow tame this beast.

I love this course - is one of my favorites (if not THE) in the game. If I have some time to spare tomorrow I'll try your setup...see if I can handle those winds Maybe the right time to start streaming some more..
