Decent start mediocre finish .. 1st two days are where the scorings at boys, high winds in the 3rd round make it harder and the greens firm up considerably on the Sunday to make scoring tough. Reasonably pleased with my effort this week should make the cut at least ... -10 -9 -5 -4 for -28 total. Good luck lads and have fun

It's far too early to tell what a cut will be, but I'd like to think you would make it with that. After missing the cut (-10) when I shot -10 in the first round last week, I had a point to prove to myself this week, and at the very least wanted to make the cut. With a -14 and -8, I'd like to think I have at least achieved that. Started round 3 and made a meal of the par 5 second, as a result of that wind you talk of Gav. So, at +1 through 2 I decided to leave it there for a day or two. I'll pick it back up once I can see how I have faired so far, when some more scores are posted.

I had a nightmare....
-9 (poor putting) -6 (poor putting) -7 (happy with that round) +4 (poor putting, poor chipping and poor putting...and chipping)
Loved the course but couldn't get a grasp of the greens. I was all over the place.. Good luck everyone, especially DB,GF and KW.
See you all next week....

Most players will drop -16 on the Thursday/Friday courses and then -6 on the weekend. The firmness change always works wonders to your score.

Lovely finish of 31 in last weeks tournament. You have had some great fortune with the cuts, so hopefully that -15 will still be good enough bro!

-14, -6, -5, -3 for -28. Very disappointed was -21 after 27 holes and my controller decided to to a hook shot on the 10th par 5 causing a double bogey and my head went after that

Oh boy oh boy how low the cut's gonna be this week (guessing around -15 / -17) Very easy R1 in the books with a 57 (-14) which could've been even better as I left at least 2 very stupid PARs there. Gonna give some practice on the B setup before going for it later today (probably). Best of luck guys!

-14 -8 -1 -6
-29 total
Seems very run of the mill that, but I'm happy that it should be enough for the cut. Really enjoyed this weeks' set up. All about the chipping and putts in those last two rounds, and I can't say that I'm totally comfortable with chips around 11-15 yards - particularly when there on slopes. Having said that, had a couple of near misses with the sand iron.
Good luck to the rest.

-14 -6 -7 -3
-30 went downhill after the first round, lip out after lip out, turned into speed golf mid way through the 3rd, very frustrating!

-11, -7 (and a possible missed cut?), -10, -5. Played poorly during a frustrating first two rounds, played better last two rounds, finished -33. Think I'll be lucky if my third and fourth round scores mean anything this week... :-(

Is there somewhere it lists the course conditions for each day such as firmness/green speed, or not? It seems like I have seen this info before, but don't remember where.

Is there somewhere it lists the course conditions for each day such as firmness/green speed, or not? It seems like I have seen this info before, but don't remember where. Greens are: Medium medium firm firm Fairways are medium all rounds. I could give you numbers on the speed but it probably wouldn't help since I use metric. Med fast, med fast, fast, fast. You can find conditions in the multipin thread located in each tour as a sticky.
