Hey all, Mike waaaay down in E. Played the first two rounds last night. Round one was pretty mediocre, left a lot of birdies out there. Second round was much better though. I had a nice ace on 14 . We will see how the rest plays out tonight. I think my 1st round is going to cost me though. Tyler and Chris putting up their -11 and -10 kinda ruins my hopes of winning this week. But hopefully Ill get that top 10. I'll post my final tonight when I finish. Good Luck all

Hey Mike, here's how it's looking for E Class right now based on early returns. I'm usually pretty accurate on these.
16 to 20 under in order to avoid demotion strike.
24 to 28 under in order to get a sponsor's exemption for D class next week.
So I don't know what your scores for the 4 rounds are, but this should give you a pretty good idea of what you're going to have to shoot.

Cool, thanks Wags. Are you up on exemption this week? Or have you gotten that D card already?

Cool, thanks Wags. Are you up on exemption this week? Or have you gotten that D card already? I'm in D on exemption yet again. LOL. I think maybe this week I might have a chance to stay. First round was a decent 7 under. We'll see how the next one goes.

Well, I left it all out there on the course today.
Round 1 – 65 Round 2 – 69 Round 3 – 63 Round 4 – 65
Total - 26 under
I don't know if it's going to be good enough to earn D Card. first round, top Sponsor Exempt player shot 9 under. He can't do better than 41 under for the tournament for me to earn my card. That's certainly within reach.
Right now, I'm cautiously optimistic. This could go either way.

Hopefully it'll be good enough to make the top ten. I've remedied the 90% bug that plagued me last week ( I hope ). And the putts, I left a half dozen out there that I could've dropped but didn't. The biggest problem is my consistency. The goal next week is to try and replicate it next week. Eventually you have to move up right? On to RRCC!

So, I was exempted to D a couple weeks ago, made the exemption cut for C, bombed that to h3ll, and since I didn't finish within 15 of the D winner, I'm all the way back home in E.
Oddly enough, this week I shot four consecutive 64s. I didn't even birdie the same holes every round. Odd, I thought.
So, sitting at -32.

If you made the exemption cut to C, how did you not earn your D Card in the process? It doesn't make any sense.

This is why he went back to E. Didn't get within 15 in D, although got exemption to C.

Yeah, and I was kind of out of the loop on a trip until late Sunday, so I didn't even see all this. I played the C tourney real early and then left and knew I'd blown it (finished like 90-something) but kind of thought, "well, that's cool, at least I kicked butt in the D tourney". But I finished -19 from the leader/winner, who was there on exemption, too, and also totally killed everyone. Winner was +6 over second place. Had he been just a couple up on 2nd, I would have moved up. Oh well, like in golf, thems the rulez.

Hey, I've been bouncing back and forth between E and D like a yo-yo, Maybe I'll finally earn my D card this week. Looks like it's going to be very tight based on my calculations. I will probably make or miss it by a stroke.
