Just thought I'd send out a friendly reminder to all that the designers do not choose the courses we play, nor do the players. So complaints regarding the appropriateness of a course, it's pin positions, green firmness and slope, etc, etc, should be directed only at TGCTours. In fact, you can all call Scott Doyley directly at 1-905.... On second thought, just go to this thread that has already been created for such discussions. tgctours.proboards.com/thread/2084/tournament-course-selection-discussionWe don't need to necessarily handle the designers with kid gloves, and constructive feedback is ok, but we should appreciate the time and effort that goes into designing, as well as the fact that TGCTours asks the designers to provide multiple pins and varying conditions for the tournaments. TGCTours depends very much on a rich supply of courses and designers to keep the tours fresh and competitive. And before you click to reply, I am not directing this at any one person or any one tour. I've just noticed that complaints continue to come in from week to week and felt the need to provide a reminder.

Actually, if I could correct one thing here, Scott...
Courses are actually selected by VOLUNTEER MEMBERS most of whom are not part of the Admin team. These are people giving their free time to playing and testing courses and aggregating feedback from the Course Rangers. They do so largely without recognition and generally only hear feedback in the form of complaints. It is a pretty thankless job.
I just feel that additional context adds to what Scott said above.
