Hi folks, in my final round one of the ghosts beside me on a green of the (I think) 3rd par five played a flop instead of a putt. I know who the user is but would rather not name and shame, I can't find their details on the forum to private message them so they can acknowledge the mistake. If you are reading this could you do the honorable thing? I've captured a video but I have no idea how to even access it from PS4 never mind upload it. I would send it on to the admins like Dean mentioned, it could have been an easy mistake from a new guy straight in out of QSchool and wasn't aware of the rule but if it was a seasoned player on here I would name and shame if they don't come forward and acknowledge their error. It's no surprise really as there are plenty of spots on the greens over the weekend where it is quite tough to 2 putt and a flop leaves an easy out. Doesn't surprise me, I don't know if many guys were around last season when coyote canyon hosted the PGA and the Web, but that was right around the time this rule came to be and there was a lot of complaining about it because of the large greens. Now it's something most have gotten used to. Hopefully this player feels shame and is brought to justice.

I love the way you design the greens man they really make you think, Moe Slorkman told me that you also designed Killarney which I played for the first time recently and really enjoyed also. Your 6th hole on Coyote canyon is great it has caught me out and I'm struggling to figure it out which it's what it's all about really, the flopping on the greens takes away having to really work out a long breaking putt when you make an error with your approach. Really enjoying the course anyway hope I can think my way around the weekend setup

I have noticed that Moe Slorkman is certainly slacking with his reports this week, maybe it has something to do with his lofty position on the leaderboard this week and making the cut comfortably last week that he just doesn't care about the cut line anymore To be honest the thread had been so dead over the last 2 weeks that I thought there was so little traffic that my reports weren't needed . This upset me greatly . But know that im asked *cough cough* Watchers Day Lunchtime report. With under 18 hours on the watcher clock the watcher safezone is -20 theres you silver lining@dhnufc -19 is 80% to make it to the weekend were we have a quieter than usual jtrippuk haven't seen a post for a while. -18 is a 35% shot were its our resident bogeyman 's turn to check under his bed for the Watchers tonight! -17 is well gone really but still a 15% chance of making the weekend unlucky for davenewell up on his exemption but Death by Watcher is the order of the day unfortunately -16 and lower are all cut I was wondering where the reports were. Highlight of the week on the forums, even when I did't participate.
Now I'm not questioning the math, because I know you've been doing these numbers for a while now and I am no math whiz, but I have to ask. Is this really correct? I'm sitting at -18 and thought I was safe. Your post puts me at 35%. Whaaaaaaaat?
Looking at the leaderboard -18 puts you tied for 54th. That would mean that 16 players need to squeeze by for them to drop out, right? There are 4 players who has only recorded 1 round. One of them sits at -3 currently. All others are well within range to advance. There are 14 watchers listed. Thats a total of 18 players registered for the event, but I'd think you can say 17. With 17 players watching and 16 needed to push the -18 crowd off the leaderboard, surely the odds must be better than 35%. Or are there usually this many Lurkers about?
Never been this close to the cut before so I guess I'm nervous

When built that course i was watching the US open at chambers bay, so they were inspired by some of the crazy slopes there.

Killarney is a great course mate well done I really enjoyed it, if your looking for some great slopes/mounds or Moends then I suggest you check out our very own Moe Slorkman 's Slorking Sands, although you won't get much inspiration, in fact it only inspires people to gouge their own eyes out after witnessing the horror ;-). Poor aul Ben Timmons played a round of it and has since not returned, some say he was bitten by one of the many snakes scattered throughout the bunkers, others say he was crushed by one of Moe's mounds..

Poor ou'll Timmons probably died of exposure Nant, he went to the sands to do a bit of watching and got lost in the desert while looking for a good vantage point, the reflection off the searing sands melted the eyeballs out of his head with those high powered binoculars he had. We may send out a search party for him at this stage

I just got around to playing that a week or so ago, and it immediately became one of my top ten favorite courses in the game. I loved the opportunities for creative shotmaking and thought the slopes were by far the best I've seen in terms of being quite bold yet extremely fair. Very, very well done, Nick. Guess I need to give Coyote Canyon a try at some point...

For those that enjoyed Killarney, be sure to keep an eye out for a multi pin event in the future. Something is in the works.
That's all I'm aloud to say or Moe will send me an evil death stare via email.
