-6 -8 -11 -3
First and last rounds particularly poor,at best. One good round in 4 is about what I seem to do. The last round really was crap.
-14 first round in practice - they don't count though!

I am hoping that 21 under will make the cut coz i really enjoyed the challenge of being here, and actually had a fairly good weekend too!

2nd round wasn't as hot as the first but a solid 60 sees me at -26 after two rounds. After being 4th last week after two rounds and then having two tough rounds I'm not banking on keeping this form going.

Two weeks ago at Country Springs I like others were surprised to get an exemption coming in tied for 20th. So last week I tried the EuroTour at Royal Birkdale opening with a +2 in round one on a course with solid, fast greens where I was struggling bad. Round 2 was in rain and slightly less hard and fast. My game was more focussed and confident and a round of -11 just made me climb into the safe -9 cutline. Last two rounds were good without being fantastic so I ended up somewhere in the middle of the field.
Again I was surprised to learn that making the cut gave me a card to the EuroTour which means not figuring on the web.com for now. It is always great fun to play you all here and to read and comment in the forum.
Good luck all this week at Coyote Canyon and hope to see you on the EuroTour.

Hi everyone, I'm visiting from CC (I scored a an exemption on an exemption from CC-B!) I'll have to get a few practice rounds in to get a feel for grown up greens!
I've been reading Doyley's moving months posts but I'm not clear on the criteria for securing a Web card. Could any of you kind souls let me know. Specifically my Irish buddies Philip and Dan who just got their Web cards (well done guys!)

Managed to keep pace, and stay within shouting distance of the leaders going into the weekend. Two decent 61's for rounds 1 and 2.
I think this course will frustrate a few people, when they miss the odd 5, 6ft slider. (Myself included) It's going to happen with these fast greens. Key is to try to leave yourself an uphill put, and practice those down hill sliders if you get a chance.
Good luck everyone.

Really nice course. Some large greens can bit you if you miss the landing zone but none of the gimmick stuff that required 4 paragraphs of explanation from the designer like last week. Good luck all

May I be the first to say Nick IMO that was spot on get your scores during the week then try and build and not blow up on the weekend.
For the first time I'm happy with my score I left shots out there as always but my putter after getting straightened following my 104 putts around Royal Burberry!!!
I'd say my Sunday will cost me a top 20 just wouldn't click and made a few poor judgements and misread a bunch of putts.
Also first week I didn't take a swim for as long as I can remember.
Anyway -12 -12 -7 -6
Total -37
Bring on Westmorland!!

My final two rounds were 64 and 66 so a final -40. Too many bogies in the last two rounds but I struggled with my approach play on the final two rounds.
Happy with that score, good luck to those still playing.
